The Union Public Service Commission is all set to conduct the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy (I) examination 2022 on April 10, 2022, UPSC has already released the admit cards for the examination and the candidates are now almost in their last stage of preparation. With nearly two weeks left for the competitive exam, it is essential to gear up with the preparation. So, here is a preparation strategy that can be followed during this remaining time.
A minimum of eight mock tests must be completed during this time. The best suggestion would be to appear for the Mathematics paper from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and the GAT paper from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, which are the actual timings of the exam. Moreover, the mock tests should be taken on alternate days since a day’s time is necessary for analyzing them.
At this point, it is not necessary to go through the current affairs of recent happenings. However, it is suggested to revise the older ones. Hence, candidates should revise the current affairs till two months before the examination date.
Candidates must ensure that they have covered a sufficient amount of the entire syllabus. The minimum qualifying score is 25% and hence everyone should check whether they meet this requirement after every test. If not, then it is suggested to go through the most important topics of both Mathematics and GAT. To be on the safer side, experts suggest that the candidates must at least score 30% in each subject.
Since there are only two papers in the exam, it is important to have an idea of the important topics. Prior to that, it is important to note that one should not try their hands on any new topic in the exam. The important topics from both Mathematics and GAT are given below.
- Mathematics – Algebra, Geometry, Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Vector, 3D, Statistics.
- GAT – English, Science (PCB), General Studies, History, Geography, Polity, Economics and GK.
It must be noted that the maximum questions in the Science portion is covered from the Physics part. However, there is no limitation for General Studies and hence, previous year question papers can be helpful.
