How to Check TS ICET 2022 Result?
The result of TS ICET 2022 is only released online. University does not send it via post or any other medium. The steps to check the result are as follows:
Step 1: Go to icet.tsche.ac.in and click on the link “Download Rank Card”. Or click on the direct link provided above.
Step 2: After that a login appears on the screen. It looks as shown below. To access the login, candidates need to enter ICET Hall Ticket Number, Registration Number, and Date of Birth. After entering the details correctly, click on the “view rank card” button.
Step 3: After that, candidates can check TS ICET 2022 result from the dashboard.

Normalization for TS ICET Result 2022
TSICET 2022will be conducted in multiple sessions based on the same syllabus, same pattern for candidates having same eligibility criteria.
- A candidate has permitted to appear only in one session. Since the question paper is different for each session, there is a possibility that the candidates may compare themselves about the variation in the difficulty levels of question paper of the same subject.
- However, it may be noted that utmost care will be taken so that all the subjects are of the same standard. Further, it is decided to adopt a normalization process to eliminate any such variations in the difficulty levels of various sessions.
- The main aim of the Normalization is to ensure that no student gets advantage/disadvantage due to multiple sessions.
- The normalization process brings all the candidates across all sessions on a comparative scale. Due to this process, the marks of the easy session may be reduced marginally and marks of hard session may increase marginally on the global scale. This depends exactly on the average performance in each session.
- Since care is taken to prepare papers of equal difficulty, these changes are expected to be very marginal. Normalized marks justify the candidates while respecting their actual performance.
- Hence, the following normalization procedure is adopted which is being followed by other competitive Examinations in India to avoid advantage/disadvantage to candidates in a particular session compared to the other sessions.
Note: For the candidates for whom there is no qualifying cut-off in TSICET, if the mark in TSICET after normalization goes below zero (negative), the mark is treated as zero. If the tie persists, then TSICET normalization marks (though negative) are considered for resolving the tie.
How is TS ICET 2022 Result Prepared?
- Qualifying Marks for TSICET-2022: The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25 per cent (ie 50 marks out of total of 200 marks). However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed.
- Ranking: Candidates will be given State-wide ranks in the order of merit in the TSICET – 2022. For the preparation of merit list, in case more than one student
scores the same ranks at TSICET, the tie will be resolved as follows:- By considering the marks scored in Section-A
- If the tie persists, marks obtained by a student in Section-B will be taken into consideration.
- If the tie still persists, the tie will be resolved by taking into account the age of the candidate giving the priority to older candidate
- Rank obtained in TSICET – 2022 is valid for admission into MBA/MCA course (full-time / part-time / evening / distance mode/DOL) of all universities in Telangana State for the academic year 2022-2023.

TS ICET 2022 Merit List
The merit list is also published on the official website. TS ICET merit list is prepared according to the ranks obtained in the entrance examination. The candidates whose names appear in the merit list are then, required to participate in the counseling.
TS ICET 2022 Counseling
After the result is declared, those who pass the entrance exam will have to appear for TS ICET counseling, To participate in the counseling process, candidates will need to register online by entering their details and pay the required amount of counseling fee.
Once the registration is done, candidates will need to book the slots for document verification and those who pass it will need to do the choice filling. Based on the availability of seats, preference of college and their merit in the entrance exam, they are offered a seat. If they are satisfied with the allotment, aspirants will need to complete the other admission formalities.
