TMU Admission 2021

Teerthanker Mahaveer University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to different professional programs. Admission to programs will be made on the basis of merit that is now available, except B.Ed, M.Ed, D.EL.ED courses for which entrance exam is to be conducted.

Courses Offered

Below we have provided the courses and their specifications offered by TMU.

  • Medical College & Research Centre:
    • MBBS (4 1/2 yrs + 1 yr Internship), MD (3 yrs), MS (3 yrs) admission to these courses will be made on the basis of NEET 2021 Merit.
    • M.Sc. Medical (3 yrs) admission will be based on merit of percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination.
  • Dental College & Research Centre:
    • BDS (4 yrs + 1 yr Internship) and MDS (3 yrs) admission to theses two courses will be made on the basis of NEET 2021 Merit.
  • College of Nursing:
    • ANM (2 yrs), GNM (3 yrs), B.Sc Nursing (4 yrs), Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (2 yrs) and M.Sc Nursing (2 yrs) admission to these courses will be based on Merit of percentage of of marks secured in the qualifying examination.
  • College of Paramedical Sciences:
    • DMLT (2 yrs), DXRT (2 yrs), D.Optom (2 yrs), BRIT (3 yrs & 6 months internship), BMLT (3 yrs & 6 months internship), B.Sc (3 yrs), B.Optom (4 yrs), MRIT (2 yrs), MMLT (2 yrs) and M.Optom (2 yrs) admission to these courses will be based on Merit of percentage of of marks secured in the qualifying examination.

    • B.A. (Specialization in Jainology) with Hindi, English and any one subject from History, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, Sanskrit and Psychology [3 yrs] and M.A. (Jainology) [2 yrs] admission to this course will be based on Merit of percentage of of marks secured in the qualifying examination.

How to Apply the Application Form?

Candidate seeking admission in an academic program conducted by the university is required to follow the TMU Admission process. The following admission process is given below

  • Candidates can apply online from official website or direct link given above.
  • Downloading from University Website: The application form can be downloaded from the University Website (tmu.ac.in) and the duly filled-up form can be forwarded to Director – Finance & Admissions, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, along with a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- favoring ‘Teerthanker Mahaveer University’, payable at Moradabad.
  • Buy Application Pack: Duly fill-in the required details completely, affix recent passport size photo and submit along with photocopy of Class-X mark sheet at following centres.

Student securing 80%+ agg. in Class XII (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards of 2017/2018) are exempted from selection process. Selection will be only on the basis of TMU Application Form.

  • Attested photocopy of Mark Sheet of M.A./M.Sc./M.Com./M.B.A./MCA/M.Tech/ Equivalent Examination (all semesters/years/ consolidated one).

  • Transfer certificate in original from the last Institution attended.
  • Migration in original from last Board/University attended.

  • Affidavit on Non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 10 for abiding university rules and regulations duly signed by student & parent.
  • Anti-ragging undertaking duly signed by student & parent.
  • Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC student.
  • Parental income certificate (Required only in case of Parental annual income less than Rs. 2 Lac).
  • Medical fitness certificate on prescribed performa.
  • Physically handicapped certificate (if applicable).
  • Recent passport size coloured photograph (6 Nos).

TMU Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria

It is important that the candidate check and see that they fall under eligibility norms set by the university. Below we have provided the detailed Eligibility Criteria for the ease of candidate. Candidates can check course wise eligibility criteria from below:

  • MBBS – 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in PCB and pass marks in English.
  • MD, MS – In order to appear candidate must have qualified MBBS.
  • M.Sc Medical – MBBS/BDS/BUMS/BHMS/BAMS/B.Sc. (Nursing)/BMLT/ B.Pharm./ BPT/B.Sc. (Forensic Science)/ B.Sc. (Biology)/B. sc. in relevant discipline/B. Tech. Biotechnology (For M.Sc. Biochemistry).
  • BDS – 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in PCB and pass marks in English.
  • MDS – In order to appear candidate must have qualified BDS.
  • ANM – 10+2 in any stream with English.
  • GNM – 10+2 in any stream with English & minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
  • B.Sc. Nursing – 10+2 with English & minimum 45% aggregate marks in PCB.
  • Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing – 10+2 with GNM.
  • M .Sc. Nursing (all specializations) – B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with 1 yr. experience.
  • DMLT, DXRT, D.Optom. – 10+2 in Science stream with PCB/M.
  • BRIT, BMLT, B.Sc – 10+2 in Science stream with PCB and English.
  • B.Optom. – 10+2 in Science stream with PCB/M.
  • MRIT – BRIT/B.Sc Radiography/BMIT/BM RIT with compulsory internship or one year of clinical experience.
  • MMLT – B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology/ BMLT with compulsory internship or one yr of clinical experience.
  • M.Optom. – B.Sc. Optometry/B.Optom. with compulsory internship or one year of clinical experience.
  • PGDYEd (Post Graduation Diploma in Yoga Education) – Graduation in Any Stream.
  • B.P.Ed. – Bachelor degree in Physical Education (BPE/B. Sc./B.A. in Physical Education) or graduation in any stream with Physical Education as an elective subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. (45% for participants to national/ inter university sports competitions recognized by AIU or IOA and for in-service trained physical education teachers/ coaches with three years teaching experience)
  • M.P.Ed. – B.P.Ed. / B.Sc. (Health & Physical Education) with minimum 50% marks.
  • BPT – 10+2 in Science stream with PCB & English subject.
  • MPT – B.Sc. (PT) / BPT / BPT through Bridge Course or through Lateral Entry with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate and minimum of 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship in Physiotherapy.
  • D.Pharm. & B.Pharm. – 10+2 in Science stream with PCB /M.
  • Pharm.D. – 10+2 in Science stream with PCB/M or D.Pharm.
  • For other courses, eligibility criteria candidate can check the admission notification provided below.

Admission Rules & Regulations

  • If you have appeared in a qualifying examination and the result is awaited, you can take provisional admission. However, in all circumstances, you shall have to submit the result in the university latest by October 31, except where Regulatory Council’s norms prescribe otherwise.
  • Attach self-certified copies of your mark sheets/testimonials with the application form. At this stage, do not send any original copies of mark-sheets/ testimonials.
  • Paste your latest photograph in the space provided in the application form.
  • Before submitting/mailing the duly filled-up application form, go through all the points contained in the form.
  • The merit list declared by the University shall be final and binding.
  • If any document/declaration submitted by the candidate is found to be false/ forged at any stage, his or her admission shall be canceled and he/she may be liable for prosecution under the law.
  • The selection to the program will be provisional until the candidate furnishes the required documents and testimonials, including the final results of the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
  • Involvement of candidate in any form of criminal activities debars the candidate from seeking admission in any program of the university. Concealment of information on this account will lead to cancellation of admission if detected subsequently.
  • If the University is not satisfied with the character, past behavior or antecedents of a candidate, it may refuse to admit him/her to any program of study in the University.
  • It is advisable that students seeking admission to the University should visit along with their parents/guardians to see the infrastructural facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, library, hostel, and transportation. This may facilitate their decision at the time of counseling/admission.
  • At the time of admission, students are required to submit an affidavit duly signed by him/her along with their parents/guardians with regard to disciplinary behavior during the entire period of the programme. If any violation is found, he/she shall be subjected to the punishment / suspension / rustication as per the University rules and regulations.
  • In case of any legal dispute, the jurisdiction will be limited to Moradabad courts only.

Note: Payment of fee in ‘Cash’ is accepted only at the designated cash counter(s) in the university campus. Students are advised to obtain the receipt for the same from the cash counter immediately on making the cash payment.
