Previously, TMI has extended the last date to submit the application form for the entrance exam for admissions into B.Tech. ME, B.Sc. NS and DNS programs till April 30, 2022. Admission is on the basis of qualifying IMUCET, followed by TMI Scholastic Aptitude Test (TMISAT 2022). Tolani Maritime Institute Science Aptitude Test (TMISAT) is conducted for candidates who have cleared 10+2 with 60% marks in PCM and 50% marks in English in 10th class or 12th class and have a valid IMUCET Rank. TMISAT is conducted in the online mode. Once the entrance test is cleared, the qualified candidates have to then appear for the interview and in the medical fitness test. - Step 2: After visiting the website, enter the details in the application form.

TMISAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for TMISAT 2022 must ensure that they fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admission in B.Tech. Marine Engineering degree and B.Sc Nautical Science programs at Tolani Maritime Institute.
Age Limit – Minimum age of the candidate to apply for TMISAT 2022 should be 17 years.
- For Male Candidates – Candidate should be born on or after September 01, 2001.
- For Female Candidates – Candidate should be born on or after September 01, 1999. 2 years age relaxation for female candidates
Academic Qualifications
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible.
- They must have Qualified IMUCET.
- Candidate should have passed Class (10+2) or its equivalent.
- Should have passed Class 10+2 or its equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have obtained at least 60% marks.
- The candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.

TMISAT 2022 Result
Result for TMISAT 2022 releases immediately after completing the aptitude test. Candidates can check how much they have scored in the aptitude test. The candidates who qualify the aptitude test are required to then appear for the interview conducted on the same day of the aptitude test. The final selection of the candidates is based on marks obtained in Class 10+2, rank in IMU-CET and result of aptitude testpersonal interview and medical tests.
TMISAT 2022 Selection Criteria
It is compulsory for candidates to appear in IMUCET and TMISAT to get admission at TMI. TMI has its own selection process. The selection process is divided into 3 phases .

Stage 1 – TMISAT 2022 Online Test
- The registered candidates have to appear first in the online test. This test is conducted for the duration of 2 hours. There are total 80 questions in the test. It consists of multiple choice questions from the subjects physics, mathematics, logical reasoning and analytical reasoning.
Stage 2 – Personal Interview
- The candidates who qualify the test are then required to appear for the personal interview. It is conducted by panel of eductors and maritime professionals. It is basically conducted to test the communication abilities of the candidates, clarity of thought, leadership potential.
Stage 3 – Medical Examination
- The candidates selected in the personal interview are then, examined by the medical practitioners appointed by the Institute for certifying confirmation with the medical requirements laid down by the Institute.
