10th Public Time Table 2022 Overview
Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu is conducting two tests as the annual examination for the academic year 2021-2022. Tmail Nadu Secondary or 10th Public Exam or Test-1 has already taken place from 09th February 2022 to 15th February 2022 at the various examination centres. TN SSLC Test-2 is already tentatively scheduled to be held from March 28, 2022 till April 05, 2022.

How to Download TN SSLC Time Table 2022?
The Directorate of Government Examinations will publish the timetable for SSLC 2022 examination soon. When available, candidates can follow the steps to download the timetable.
1st Step: Visit the Official website of DGE at – dge.tn.gov.in.
2nd Step: Click on the “TIMETABLE” tab available on the Homepage.
3rd Step: Then a list of timetables of all the classes will appear on the same page. Click on “SSLC Time Table 2022”
4th Step: A timetable will be opened in a new tab. Click on the “Download” button to save the timetable as a pdf.

TN SSLC Marks Assessment and Exam Pattern 2022
The curriculum of the TN SSLC examination has been divided into 4 parts. Details of each part with subjects and marks are given below.

- Candidates have to score a minimum of 35 (out of 100 marks) marks in each subject to be declared as a pass.
- For subjects in Part-III, candidates can opt for question paper medium.

The exam of TN SSLC will be conducted as per the timings given below.

Procedure to Apply for TN Class 10 Exam 2022
To be eligible to appear in TN SSLC examinations, every candidate has to go through the registration process. The process for respective candidates is given below.
For Regular Student (School Candidate)
A School candidate, studying in class 10th in High or Higher Secondary School in Tamil Nadu is eligible to give the SSLC examination. They do not need to do the registration from an outside source
For Private Candidate
Private Candidates in class 10th have to apply for the TN SSLC exam through Government Examination Service Centers located nearby the candidate’s district. The service center will register on behalf of a candidate under the directorate’s guidance. Candidates need to provide personal details, a photograph, educational qualifications, address, and contact details. The center after filling the registration form will provide an application with a registration slip. Candidates have to keep these two documents carefully as they will be asked at the time of examination.
Some Preparation Tips for TN SSLC Exam
To increase the preparation level and secure a better result in the TN SSLC examination, a candidate can follow the tips given below.
- Solve SSLC Previous Year Question Paper in a 3-hour slot without break (to get the environment of the main exam). Solving question papers help in understanding the question paper pattern and writing answer accordingly.
- Students can make notes either from the teacher’s explanation or by themselves. Note down and highlight only important topics that too chapter-wise.
- After every class of subject, read the topics taught in class by yourself at home to remember important points and note down the same in your notes.
- Students should study from the books suggested by their concerned subjects teacher and follow these books till the exam. Do not waste time collecting too many books for the same topic.
- Preparation should be in the managed schedule. Students have to make a schedule for their studies to utilize their precious time and maximize the output.
- Study only those chapters given in your syllabus.
- Try to cover the entire syllabus a month before the exam so you can give more time to revision. Revise from books you have been following, notes you prepared, and from the mistakes you made while solving SSLC previous question papers.
TN SSLC Supplementary Exam 2022
Every year, the Directorate of Government Examinations conducts the supplementary examination in June/July for the candidates who failed in one or more subjects in the TN SSLC exam. Both regular and private candidates can apply for the supplementary exam. The directorate will release the notification prior to the supplementary exam which candidates can refer for the application process. Candidates can apply online for the supplementary exam through the directorate’s website.
TN SSLC Hall Ticket 2022
Hall Ticket (admit card) for private candidates will be published online on the official website of the Directorate in February 2022. Candidates can download a copy of their admit card by providing login credentials (given on the application form) and can take a printout to carry to the examination center. Allotted examination center’s details will be mentioned on the hall ticket. For Regular candidates, the institute will download their admit card and will distribute among the candidates. Students can collect their hall ticket from respective schools. Every candidate (regular and private) has to carry their hall ticket while appearing for the examination. A candidate without admit card will not be permitted to sit for the exam.
Directorate of Government Examination
The Directorate of Government Examination (DGE) was established in February 1975 as a separate directorate in Tamil Nadu, India. The directorate conducted its first Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) for class 10th in 1911. After the SSLC exam, the directorate started conducting several exams such as Higher Secondary Examination (for class 12th), ESLC (for private studies), Diploma in Elementary Education Examination, National Talent Search Examination, National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination and many other exams.
The Directorate of Government Examination has 7 regional offices in seven different cities of Tamil Nadu. The responsibilities of these regional offices are conducting public examinations, supplying stationery required in the examination, distributing funds to conduct examinations, and distributing Mark Certificate to those students who cleared the examination.
