JKCET 2022 Result – The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations will release the JKCET 2022 result after the conduction of the entrance exam. How to Check JKCET 2022 Result
The JKCET 2022 result will be released on the official website of the council iejkbopee.gov.in, The result will be out within seven days after the successful conduction of the JKCET 2022 exam. The result will also be available at the exam council offices in Srinagar and Jammu. Candidates can follow the following steps to check the JKCET 2022 result online:

How is the result calculated
1 mark will be awarded for every right answer and for every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. In order to obtain admission, candidates will have to obtain 10 or more marks in the entrance exam or as set by the Board. Those who score less than this won’t be considered for admission. On the evening of the date when the exam is conducted or up to 12 noon the next day, the answer key will be uploaded on the official website. Candidates will be able to check the same for the next 3 days and will be able to file grievances if any, along with proof from the prescribed textbook.

How is the merit list prepared
In order to prepare the merit list, if the entrance exam is not held, the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam (12th class), will be taken into consideration. The list will be created by the Board in order of inter-se merit of candidates in the test in descending order for the open merit category and for the reserved category as well.

If a situation arises in which two or more candidates share the same marks in the exam, the inter-se-merit of will be determined by taking into account the following components:
- Mathematics marks in the test
- Physics marks in the test, in case the marks obtained in Mathematics are equal
- Chemistry marks in the test if marks obtained in Mathematics and Physics are equal
- If marks obtained in Math, Physics and Chemistry are same, then preferance will be given to the older candidate
- First alphabet of candidate’s name

JKCET 2022 Counseling
After the declaration of JKCET 2022 result, qualified candidates have to participate in the counseling process in order to get admission. The JKCET 2022 counseling will be either online or offline. The candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of the merit list and cut-off released by the council.
