PESSAT 2022 – PES University has released PESSAT 2022 application form for B.Tech, B.Arch and all other courses. Candidates can fill the PESSAT 2022 application form from official website, which is pessat.com. PESSAT 2022 entrance exam for B.Tech course will conduct in the month of May 2022. Whereas, entrance exam for all other courses will held from January 2022 to July 2022.

PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) 2022 is an all India entrance examination. The aspirant must have passed / appearing in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. PESSAT is held every once in a year for admission in 11 UG and 8 PG courses. Read more detailed information regarding PESSAT 2022 from below.

PESSAT 2022 Application Form 

Application Form for PESSAT 2022 releases on the official website. The application form can be completed using the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the official website to fill the application form

Step 2: Select the course to apply

Step 3: Fill in the basic details to register

Step 4: Pay the application fee using the preferred method of payment

Step 5: Fill the rest of the details in the application form

Step 6: Upload the scanned images in the form

Step 7: Take print of the application form for reference

Application fee

The PESSAT 2022 application fee is Rs. 1050 for all courses and category

Mode of payment

The application fee can be paid via any of the folllowing modes:

  • Online: Using credit/debit card or net banking

Documents needed to fill the PESSAT form:

  • Scanned image of recent passport size photo
  • Educational certificate and mark sheet for reference

PESSAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria 

PESSAT 2022 offers different courses pertaining to different eligibility criteria: (Based on last year record)

B.TECH

  • The candidate must be 10+2 passed with 60% aggregate marks in PCM/Computer Science/Electronics/Biotechnology or equivalent examination from a recognised board
  • PESSAT (National Level examination) or KCET (State Level Examination)scores are also required to fulfil the eligibility

BBA/ BBA-HEM

  • The candidate must be 10+2 passed or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board.

B.DES

  • The candidate must be 10+2 passed with 50% aggregate marks in any stream with English as a mandatory subject from a recognized board OR 50% aggregate in three year diploma with English as a mandatory course.
  • PESSAT or UCEED examination score

BBA, LLB

  • The candidate must be 10+2 passed or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board.
  • Minimum marks of 45% of the total marks in qualifying examination, in case of general category applicants and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
  • CLAT or PESSAT or LSAT-India scorecard

B.ARCH

  • The candidates must be 10+2 passed with 50% aggregate marks in PCM
  • Must have also passed 10+3 with 50% marks in aggregate in diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject
  • 50% marks secured in NATA

MCA

  • The candidate should have passed undergraduate degree with 50% marks in all the year along with Maths/statistics/computer science/ computer programming/ business mathematics/business statistics as one of the subjects
  • PESSAT or PGCET marks

MBA

  • The candidate must secure 60% marks in UG from any recognized University.
  • PESSAT, PGCET, MAT, CMAT, CAT, GMAT, GRE scores are accepted

M.TECH

  • The candidate must pass Engineering degree with 60% in a relevant stream from a recognized University.
  • PESSAT, PGCET or GATE scores are accepted.

PESSAT 2022 Exam Pattern

Following is the Exam Pattern followed in PESSAT 2022 as per last year details: 

  • Mode of Exam : Online (Computer based Test), except B.Des (test will be a paper and pen test)
  • Medium of Question Paper : English
  • Types of Questions: Multiple choice Questions
  • Total Duration: B.Tech: 180 minutes, Other Courses: 120 minutes

Marking scheme

Correct answer: +1 will be awarded for each correct answer

Incorrect answer: No marks will be deducted for wrong answer. However, in B.Tech examination in Section 2 English grammar 0.25 marks will be deducted for a each wrong answer.

PESSAT 2022 is All India Online Entrance Examination conducted for various course offered by PES University. Candidates must prepare with the best resources and tips to pass the exam.Some general preparation tips are given below for candidates to follow: 

  • Stick to the Syllabus gIve more concentration to the Important topics and prepare accordingly. 
  • Try to build up your speed and accuracy, because, for all courses entrance exams here, you will have less than one minute per question
  • For BBA / BBA HEM exam, you can study MCQs on English, Verbal Ability, Reasoning, Quant.
  •  Solve previous year Question Papers and Practice Mock Tests  
  • Prepare and practice from different resources available including books and Online information resources.
  • Study General concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Clear your basic concepts. Refer to NCERT books. 
  • Solve Numerical and deviations problems for physics and Mathematics.

PESSAT 2022 Admit Card 

PESSAT 2022 Admit Card for the B.Tech will be released by the conducting body, PES University Bangalore. Once candidates successfully book their slots and reserve a date and time for PESSAT 2022 they are issued with the Hall ticket with detailed instructions on it which can be downloaded by the candidates from the official website. Admit Card is an important document that must be carried by a candidate at the time of Examination in a printed form. Hall ticket is the pass to appear PESSAT. Admit Card for PESSAT 2022 is not sent via any post or mail. Candidats must keep 2-3 copies and keep it safe till the time of admission.

PESSAT 2022 Result 

Result will be declared after the examination is conducted. Candidates can check their Results using their registration number and date of birth. Result is followed by the Counselling process where qualified candidates are called to appear in the counselling to complete the further process of Admission. PESSAT Rank will be generated on the basis of PESSAT scores secured by candidates.The scores for PESSAT 2022 will be considered for the courses offered at PES University. Candidates must check their Results for B.Tech/B.Arch and other courses as they will be declared separately as per the Exam is conducted.

PESSAT 2022 Counselling 

Counselling process starts shortly after the PESSAT 2022 Result declaration. Qualified candidates are called to appear in the Counselling process. For B.Tech counselling, only PESSAT Rank, which is generated on PESSAT Score of the candidate is considered. Selected candidates must appear in the counselling process for admission process. In case Candidates are not able to appear themselves, one of the parents or guardian can represent the candidate in behalf. Candidates need to submit an authorization letter for the same and seek permission for it.
