NEE 2022 Eligibility

Eligibility for NEE I
Age: Maximum Age limit as on July 31, 2022 is 19 years for the students of the general category(GE) (born on or after 1st August 2003), 22 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after August 1, 2000) and 24 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after August 1, 1998).
Academic Qualification: Applicants must have passed Class X / Matriculation / Secondary examination or an equivalent examination with Science and Mathematics. They should have passed in all the subjects including Science and Mathematics separately.
Eligibility for NEE-II
Age: Maximum Age limit as on July 31, 2022 is 23 years for the students of the general category (GE) (born on or after August 01, 1999), 26 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after August 01, 1996) and 28 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after August 01, 1994).
Academic Qualifications for different schemes/modes of NEE:
- NEE-II (PCM): Applicants must have passed in 10+2(PCM)/ Higher Secondary/Sr. Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- NEE-II (Vocational): Applicants must have passed 10+2(Vocational) / ITI / NERIST Certificate in any one of the branches/trades
- NEE-II (PCB): Applicants must have passed in 10+2(PCB)/ Higher Secondary/Sr. Secondary with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).

Eligibility for NEE III
Age: Maximum Age limit as on July 31, 2022 are 40 years for the students of the general category (GE) (born on or after August 01, 1982), 43 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after August 01, 1979) and 45 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after August 01, 1977).
Academic Qualifications for NEE-III : Applicants must have passed the 3-year Diploma course from any Government recognized Polytechnic / institution in the respective or allied discipline with a minimum of 60% marks considering aggregate marks of all the three years’ together/CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale or NERIST Diploma Module with a minimum of CGPA 6.0.
NEE 2022 Application Form
North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) releases the application form in online mode only. The forms are made available online at the website neeonline.ac.in. Direct link to fill the form is also provided on “Application Form” page.
- Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as appear in the instruction panel.
- Candidates can fill up the entire form in one session or enter one part of the information and save and complete the same at a later stage within the due dates of filling and submitting the form.
- Be careful while filling up each of the fields or selecting an option from the drop-down menu such as reservation code.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2022, are also eligible to apply. However, they must produce mark sheets/grade cards/ pass certificates on the day of counselling/admission. Otherwise, their selection will be cancelled.
- The online application can be done within the dates specified.

NEE 2022 Admit Card
- For NERIST NEE 2022, a candidate is issued the admit cards in online mode, only and on its official website, nerist.ac.in.
- Candidates need their user ID and password to download their NEE 2022 Admit card.
- Before downloading NEE 2022 Admit Card, a candidate needs to check the details printed on it. Such details include – candidate’s name, application number, course opted for, test centre code, test date, and slot, along with some general instructions. You shall also receive an SMS on your registered mobile number and an e-mail notification in your verified-mail ID, when your Admit card is ready to be downloaded from the web site
In the case of non-receipt of NEE 2022 admit card, a candidate is advised to carry a copy of the registration confirmation page, along with 2 passport size photographs. On the day of the Examination, candidates must bring their Admit Cards, Black ball point pen, etc., to the Examination Hall

NEE 2022 Result
NERIST NEE 2022 results has declared after the successful completion of the exam. Candidates can check their result online at nerist.ac.in and the direct link is provided on this page above. Candidates who qualify the entrance exam are eligible to appear for the counselling process. The schedule for counselling will be uploaded on the official website soon.
NEE 2022 Counselling
Selected candidates are asked to appear for NEE 2022 Counselling round. North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) releases the names of selected/waitlisted candidates, mentioning their counselling date and time. Over this round, a candidate is required to get verified all the details /documents for admission purpose. Along with the original copies of each of the documents/ certificates, a candidate needs to carry even submit self-attested copies of each.
