NEET PG Counselling 2021 – The MCC has released a revised NEET PG Counselling 2021 schedule for the Mop-up round to accommodate the freshly eligible candidates after the percentile was lowered. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the registration and choice filling process for the Mop-up round counselling at mcc.nic.in. Last date for Mop-up round registration and choice filling is March 17, 2022. Apart from this, MCC has released the notice regarding blocking of seats for those candidates who are opting for the seats and not joining the allotted seats. This year, the MCC is conducting the NEET PG counselling in 04 rounds for AIQ. Moreover, candidates who have inadvertently filled NRI category in NBE registration form will be considered under UR category. The counselling of NEET PG 2021 is being held in online mode to fill seats of MD / MS and PG diploma courses. NEET PG counselling process includes online registration, payment of counselling fee, choice filling, seat allotment, reporting at the allotted institute. NEET PG Counselling 2021 Registration Fee

To submit the counselling registration form, candidates need to pay the required amount of the registration fee. It is based on previous year’s information and will be updated soon after the brochure is out.

NEET PG 2021 Counselling Guidelines and Rules

Candidates must check the NEET PG 2021 counselling guidelines and rules from below:

  • Unfilled NRI/Muslim Minority/Jain Minority seats to be converted to Indian National seats after exhaustion of all the eligible NRI/Muslim Minority/Jain Minority Candidates during the Mop-Up Round before reverting it back to the respective Deemed University.
  • Counselling for PG DNB seats to be conducted by MCC of DGHS, MoHFW.
  • Online Stray vacancy Round to be conducted by MCC of DGHS, MoHFW for Central University/Institutes/All India Quota/DNB seats.

How to Register for NEET PG 2021 Counselling?

To fill the registration form to participate in NEET PG 2021 counselling, candidates may follow the instructions as provided below.

Step 1: Click here on “New Candidate Registration” for NEET PG counselling.

Step 2: Now, you need to enter details like roll number, application number, your name, mother’s name, mobile number, email id, etc.

Step 3: Click on the ‘submit’ button after which you will get an OTP on your mobile number and email id.

Step 4: Enter the OTP as obtained and submit it.

Step 4: In doing so, registration slip will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Candidate is registered successfully and can proceed to choice filling and locking.

NEET PG 2021 Counselling Eligibility

To participate in NEET PG Counselling 2021 process, candidates must obtain marks equal to or greater than the cut off marks as released by MCC at the time of declaration of NEET PG result Check NEET PG 2021 cut off marks from the table below.

Candidates who have passed MBBS/ BDS from the colleges which are affiliated to IP University.

Those candidates who have passed MBBS/ BDS from the colleges affiliated to IP University are eligible to take part in 50% of the international quota seats of VMMC, ABVIMS, PGIMSR, ESI Hospital Basaidarapur and central Instituted of Delhi.

NEET PG 2021 Choice Filling

Once the candidates have successfully registered for NEET PG Counselling 2021, they need to proceed to the exercise the choice filing facility. Candidates can select as many courses/colleges as they want to. The choice filling can only be done online. It is to be noted that based on the choices submitted by the candidates, they are allotted a seat.

Documents Required for NEET PG 2021 Counselling

Candidates are required to carry the following documents at the time of joining the allotted Medical/Dental College.

  1. Admit Card of NEET PG 2021
  2. Marksheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd & 3rd Professional Examinations.
  3. MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate.
  4. Result or Rank card
  5. Internship Completion Certificate
  6. Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Council. Provision Registration Certificate is acceptable only in cases where the candidate is undergoing internship and is likely to complete the same on or before 31st March of the year of admission.
  7. Date of Birth proof
  8. Any photo ID proof
  9. SC/ST/OBC/ PH certificate (if required)
  10. Undertaking, hand-written and self-attested

NEET PG 2021 Counselling Procedure

The counselling process for NEET PG 2021 can be completed as per the instructions as provided below.

NEET PG Counselling Process

Step 1: Register to participate in counselling

  • Firstly, eligible candidates need to register online at MCC website.
  • For registration, you need to provide your NEET PG roll number, email id, etc.
  • Note that those who register in the first round shall not require in round 2 of NEET PG counselling.
  • Pay the necessary amount of counselling registration fee.

Step 2: Choice filling

  • Once the registration part is done, you can choose the desired course and college from MCC website.
  • At the time of choice filling, you may choose as many options as you want to.
  • Lock the choices and submit them once satisfied with the preference selected.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

  • The seat allotment result is published online at MCC website.
  • Candidates are allotted a seat based on the options submitted by them, availability of seat and All India Rank secured by the candidate.

Step 4: Reporting to Allotted College

  • Those who are satisfied with their allotted seat have to report at the allotted college along with the necessary documents for verification.
  • Candidates shall have to pay the admission fee when reporting at the allotted college to secure their seat.

NEET PG 2021 Counselling Rounds

MCC shall conduct four (04) round of NEET PG Counselling 2021 process. The steps to be followed in NEET PG Counselling 2021 is as follows:

AIQ Round 1: It is the main round for counselling registration.

  • It includes the payment of Registration fee (Non-Refundable) and Tution fee (Refundable).
  • Choice Filling – Exercising and Locking of subjects and institutions. Candidate can make any number of choices as per their preference.
  • Candidates are allotted seat as per their merit, choice and preference. After seat allotment, candidate has to report to the allotted institute along with the allotment letter and complete all the admission formalities.

AIQ Round 2: It is the second main round for counselling registration for those candidates who have not registered in Round 1 or have not reported in Round 1

  • Candidates to whom seat is not allotted in Round 1 need not to register again. They just have to do the choice filling again.
  • To whom seats are allotted have to report to the allotted institute and complete all the admission formalities.

AIQ Mop Up Round: Mop up round is held to fill the left seats. It includes fresh registration of candidates including those who registered in Round 1 and exited and those who registered in Round 2 and exited with Forfeiture of fees.

  • Candidates who are registered in Round 1 and Round 2 need not to register again for Mop Up round.
  • Fresh choice filling of subjects and institutions has to be done in Mop Up round.
  • Candidates, if allotted seat, have to report to the allotted institution as per the schedule and complete the admission formalities.Candidates who have passed MBBS/ BDS from the colleges which are affiliated to IP University.

Note: Candidates who have joined and taken admission in Round-2 of AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities are not eligible to participate in Mop Up Round.

AIQ Stray Vacancy Round: It is to be conducted by the Deemed/ Central Universities/ ESIC.

  • There will be no Fresh Registration of Candidates in Final Stray Vacancy Round.
  • Registration can be done online in beginning of first round, second round and mop up round. After that, no registration facility is available for any candidate in any circumstances.

Note: Please note that No seat will be reverted back to the respective States after completion of round 2 of AIQ.

NEET PG 2021 Counselling Instructions for online Stray Vacancy Round

Candidates can check the important instruction for participating in the online stray vacancy round of NEET PG 2021 counselling.

  • Candidates no need to do new Registration/ Payment option for Online Stray Vacancy Round.
  • There is no fresh choice Filling for Online Stray Vacancy Round
  • The Choices exercised by candidates in Mop Up Round will be considered for allotment of seats for Stray Vacancy Round
  • Allotment of seats ‘Online’ by running software v) Eligible candidates who are not holding any seat can only participate in Online Stray Vacancy Round.

NEET PG 2021 Counselling Reservation

Candidates can check the reservation policy of AIQ for Central Institutes/University as well as State contributed seats:

  • SC: 15%
  • ST: 7.5%
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central OBC list: 27%
  • EWS- as per Central Government norms: 10%
  • PwD- Horizontal Reservation as per NMC norms: 5%
