NEET MDS 2022 – – NBE, new delhi is going to conduct the NEET PG 2022 exam on May 02, 2022. Moreover, the NEET MDS 2022 application form is going to be reopened on March 21, 2022, 3:00 pm onwards. National Board of Examination (NBE) conducts the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS every year at the national level. It is a single entrance exam in India for admitting candidates in PG Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses. The candidate must hold a bachelor in dental surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized university to be eligible for the exam. NEET MDS 2022 Correction Window Open

NEET MDS 2022 application form correction window is open till February 01, 2022, up to 11:55 pm. Whereas, NEET MDS 2022 examination will be held on March 06, 2022.

NEET MDS 2022 Application Form

Interested candidates should fill the application form online at the official website, cdn3.digialm.com. Candidates once submitted applications cannot be withdrawn. The fee shall neither be carried forward to a future date nor refunded under any circumstances. Before filling the application form, candidates should ensure their eligibility criteria and be advised not to complete their application registration process in haste so as to avoid any errors in providing information.

NEET MDS 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the eligibility criteria for NEET MDS 2022. Candidates check the complete NEET MDS 2022 eligibility is given below.

Qualification,

  • Applicants must have a recognized degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery from a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/ recognized dental college
  • A candidate who after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GoI/DCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by July 31, 2022 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotatory internship and obtained provisional or permanent registration on or before July 31, 2022 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by July 31, 2022.
  • Candidates may visit the DCI website to know any change in the date of Internship completion.

  • Those candidates who passed the final qualifying examination (BDS or the foreign dental degree recognized by GOI/DCI) and are undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship and is likely to complete the same by March 31 (Year of admission) are also eligible to appear for the entrance exam.

Eligibility for All India 50% Quota Seats

Candidates who were nominated by the Government of India to do BDS from Dental Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible to apply for admission.

Candidates not Eligible to Apply Under All India 50% Quota Seats

  1. Candidates who have studied/passed BDS from the state of Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for 50% All India Quota seat.
  2. Furthermore, those who have done their BDS from Jammu & Kashmir but fail to submit the affidavit as indicated above will not be considered for participation in All India 50% quota counseling.

NEET MDS 2022 Admit Card

The admit card for NEET MDS 2022 will be released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Candidates can obtain their admit cards online and download them using their application form and password. The admit card is an important document and candidates must carry it at the examination center.

NEET MDS 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus for the exam shall be that of BDS standard and shall cover all the subjects/syllabus taught during the BDS course as prescribed in the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations, 2007 as amended from time to time.

NEET MDS 2022 Exam Pattern

  1. Language of Question Paper: Question paper will be available in English language.
  2. Duration: 3 hours
  3. Type of questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQs)
  4. Number of questions: Total number of questions in the NEET MDS exam are 240.
  5. Marking scheme: Candidate is given four marks for every correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
  6. Sections: NEET MDS consists of 2 parts – Part A and Part B. Part A consists of the total number of 100 questions and part B consist of the total number of 140 questions.
