NEET 2021 Counselling – MCC has released the NEET 2021 final allotment result for round 2 and updated provisional seat allotment result for round 2 at mcc.nic.in. Apart from this, MCC has released the notice for migration certificate for NEET Counselling 2021. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the NEET counselling process online for admission in 15% AIQ, AIIMS counselling, JIPMER counselling, AFMC counselling, ESIC counselling, and Deemed / Central Universities. The process includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting at the allotted institute to complete admission formalities. On the other hand, the state counselling process via NEET scores is held by the authorities of the respective states and the candidates have to follow their process and schedule made available by them. NEET 2021 Counselling Dates

The schedule of NEET 2021 counselling must be followed strictly. If any deadline is miss the candidates are eliminated from the process. Below is the MCC counselling schedule for NEET 2021:

NEET 2021 Counselling Registration

To participate in NEET 2021 counselling, candidates have to first register on the official website of MCC and provide the details the same as provided in the application form of NEET. Once the registration is done, a password is generated for NEET-UG 2021 Counselling login. Remember your password till the end of the All India Quota admission process.

At the time of registration students have to pay two kinds of fee:

Payment mode: Candidates can do online payment by Net Banking/ credit card/ debit card only after making the payment as per choice. Only after the successful payment candidate proceed for choice filling.

NEET 2021 Counselling Seat Allotment

After the registration and choice filling, MCC releases the result for seat allotment. Seat allotment is done on the basisis of the below given factors:

  • Merit list (rank and score in NEET 2021)
  • Seat availability as per the choices of preferences of the candidates

Candidates can check the result of seat allotment in PDF format here. Selected candidates also receive the counselling letter in their login. According to the provisional allotment letter they have to report on the date, time and college mentioned. Candidates have to reach the centre along with documents required to verification and the admission fee.

NEET 2021 Allotment Letter

Candidates who are allotted seats in the online counselling process can download the counseling letter. Candidates need to log in with the User Id and password created at the time of registration of the counselling process. The counseling letter shall carry the college / institution allotted to the candidate at the time seat allotment. Candidates are required to report at the center allotted to the candidates on the date and time mentioned in the letter. They also have to carry the hard copy of the counseling letter along with other documents.

NEET 2021 Counselling for 15% AIQ

There are two rounds of AIQ online counselling i.e. Round 1 & Round 2.

Who are eligible: All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) except the Union Territory of J&K are eligible.

AIQ includes:

  • 15% MBBS/ BDS Seats of States
  • 100% MBBS/ BDS Seats of BHU
  • 100% MBBS Seats of AIIMS across India
  • All India Quota of JIPMER (Puducherry/ Karaikal)
  • All India Quota seats of AMU/ DU/ VMMC/ ABVIMS
  • All India Quota Seats of Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia)
  • All India Quota Seats of ESIC

Reservation policy to be followed while seat allotment in NEET 2021 Counselling for 15% AIQ:

Note 1: Reservation of seats under PWD Category has been increased from 3% to 5% in AIQ and the 21 Benchmark Disabilities

Note 2: The counselling for 15% AIQ is domicile free.

NEET 2021 Counselling Process at A Glance

There are 3 rounds of NEET 2021 counselling: Round 1, Round 2 and Mop Up Round (Only for Deemed/ Central Universities, ESIC, AIIMS & JIPMER) (As per previous year) . The process that is to be followed under each of these rounds are:

NEET 2021 Round 1 process:

  1. Main counseling Registration which includes payment of Non-Refundable Registration fee and Refundable Security Deposit.
  2. Exercising of Choices and Locking of choices.
  3. Process of Seat Allotment Round-1.
  4. Publication of result of Round-1on MCC website.
  5. Reporting at the allotted Medical / Dental College against 1 Round.

NEET 2021 Round 2 process:

  1. Candidates who registered for Round-1 and did not get any seat allotted are not required to register again. Fresh New Registration for Round-2 for those candidates who
    • Have not registered in Round-1 (with full payment of fees).
    • Have Resigned / Not reported in Round-1 need not register again.
    • Fresh Choice filling Round-2.
  2. Publication of result of Round-2 on MCC website.
  3. Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College against Round 2

Mop Up Round (Only for Deemed/ Central Universities, ESIC, AIIMS & JIPMER):

  1. Fresh Registration with payment of registration fee for Mop Up Round for the following candidates:
    • Those who registered in Round-1 & exited availing Free Exit
    • Who registered in Round-2 & exited with Forfeiture of fees can register again with payment of fees.
  2. Fresh choice filling of Mop Up Round
  3. Publication of result of Mop Up Round on MCC website
  4. Reporting at the Allotted Medical/ Dental College after Mop Up Round

However, candidates who have already joined and taken admission in Round-2 of AIQ / Deemed / Central Universities / AIIMS / JIPMER will not be eligible to participate in Mop-Up Round. (Those who registered but were not allotted a seat in Round-1 & Round-2 need not register again).

NEET 2021 Counselling Document Verification

Candidates have to carry the mentioned below documents for the verification process. In case if a candidate found ineligible at the time of verification, he/she will not be granted admission under any circumstances. The list of documents to be carried at the time of verification:

  • Allotment Letter issued by MCC
  • Admit Cards of Exams issued by NTA.
  • Result/ Rank letter issued by NTA.
  • Date of Birth Certificate (if Metric Certificate does not bear the same)
  • Class 10th Certificate
  • Class 10+2 Certificate
  • Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
  • Eight (8) Passport size photograph the same as affixed on the application form.
  • Provisional allotment letter generated online.
  • Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving Licence/ Passport)
  • For NRI/ OCI candidates appearing for Deemed Universities documents mandatory are Passport copy of sponsorer, embassy certificate, Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of the study), Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)
  • The Candidate should also bring these certificate, if applicable: SC / ST Certificate, OBC certificate, Disability Certificate, EWS Certificate

NEET 2021 Counselling for 100% Deemed University, AIIMS, JIPMER

There are four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2 of AIQ, and Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round. Out of the four rounds, three rounds are conducted online by MCC i.e. Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-Up Round. The Stray Vacancy round shall be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities for which the list of registered candidates for the Stray Vacancy round will be forwarded by the MCC to the respective Deemed Universities.

Who are eligible: All the candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by NTA including candidates from Union Territory of J&K will be eligible.

NEET 2021 Counselling for Central Universities

There are four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2 of AIQ, and Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round. Out of the four rounds, three rounds are conducted online by MCC i.e. Round 1, Round 2, and Mop-Up Round. The Stray Vacancy round shall be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities for which the list of registered candidates for the Stray Vacancy round will be forwarded by the MCC to the respective Deemed Universities.

NEET 2020 Counselling for Central Universities

NEET 2021 Counselling for AFMS

Candidates who desire to participate in AFMS Counselling have to register on the MCC portal. The list of registered candidates is then sent to AFMS Authorities for conducting Offline counseling as per their rules and regulations. The result of the counselling i.e. the allotment status is sent back to MCC for uploading on MCC website.

NEET 2021 Counselling for ESIC

ESIC 15% seats would be allotted through All India Quota (Round 1 & 2). Remaining 85% seats shall be treated as state quota seats and shall be open to all the candidates participating in the Mop-up Round.

NEET 2021

National Testing Agency holds NEET in offline mode and across various test centers across the nation. From 2021, NEET remains the only UG medical entrance exam. AIIMS and JIPMER, from now on, shall admit students based on NEET scores only. Cracking the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) allows the candidates to take admission in 15% All India Quota seats via MCC counselling. The rest of the seats is offred via state counselling and are distributed among the states. For 15% All India seats the candidates who score up to 50 percentile in the general category are selected.
