NEE 2022 Cut-Off Marks
For the selection of the candidates, NERIST releases the cut-off marks on the basis of the NEE. All those candidates who then, meet the marks are declared as qualified and can take part in the other admission processes.
What After the Declaration of NEE 2022 Result?
After the declaration of the result, the counseling process takes place. The dates for the counseling are notified online at nerist.ac.in. The names of the selected / waitlisted candidates along with the date and time of counseling or admission are displayed on the website of the institute.

NERIST Criteria for Reservation of Seats
The reservation of seats is divided into 3 categories. The categories are given below:
- State quota: For those who belong to any of the 8 North Eastern states
- All-India quota: For those who belong to any States of India
- PD quota: For the candidates with 40% – 75% Physical loco-motor disability belonging to any of the State of India
The seat distribution is such that out of the total number of seats in each of the modules for direct admissions:
- 80% of the seats are reserved for the candidates of the 8 North Eastern states (10% of each state) as state quota
- 7% of the total seats are filled up with Permanent Residence Certificate holders of these 8 North Eastern states on merit basis
- 10% of the total seats are filled up with the candidates under All-India quota
- 3% of the total seats are reserved for Physical Locomotor Disabled persons under PD-quota

NERIST Scholarships / Stipend
The ST / SC students of the North-Eastern states are provided with stipends by the concerned state and Central governments at different rates. The North Eastern Council also provides scholarships to the students of the region for their study at degree and higher levels.
