MHT CET Law 2022 Eligibility Criteria

There is no age limit for MHT CET Law 2022. The other eligibility criteria for candidates taking the MHT CET Law 2022 examination are given below.

MHT CET 2022 Educational Eligibility Criteria

For LLB 3 year course

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • They must have passed their 10+2 examination from a recognised board 
  • The unreserved candidates have 45% aggregate marks, the reserved categories of candidates like VJ/ DT/ NT(A)/ NT(B)/ NT(C)/ NT(D)/OBC/ SBC must have 42% aggregate marks while the SC/ ST candidates must have at least 40% of the marks.
  • Candidate must have a graduation degree of minimum 3 years duration in 10+2+3 pattern.
  • Candidates in last year of their UG examination are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates having degrees from open universities are not eligible for this examination

For LLB 5 year course

  • The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examination from a recognized board in Maharashtra.
  • The unreserved candidates have 45% aggregate marks, the reserved categories of candidates like VJ/ DT/ NT(A)/ NT(B)/ NT(C)/ NT(D)/OBC/ SBC must have 42% aggregate marks while the SC/ ST candidates must have at least 40% of the marks.

MHT CET Law 2022 Application Form

MHT CET 2022 application fees will be INR 800 for unreserved categories of candidates and INR 600 for reserved categories of candidates from the state of Maharashtra. The application form fill-up procedure and the payment of application fees has to be done in the online mode only. 

  • The application form has to be filled up and submitted in the online mode only. This procedure has to be completed via the official website of MHT CET Law 2022, the link to which is – mahacet.org.
  • The details in the application form must be filled up carefully to the best of the knowledge of the candidates. There will be an option to edit certain details in this form later on like Name of the candidate, Exam center, Photograph, Signature

Instructions regarding the self-photograph

  • The uploaded self-hotograph must coloured and of passport size
  • Look straight at the camera.
  • There should not be any red-eyes
  • The background of the photograph must be light
  • There should be no reflection on the glasses
  • The face should be visible clearly
  • Hats, caps and dark glasses are prohibited
  • There should not be any shadows

Instructions regarding the signature

  • The signature should be done on a white paper with blue or black pen
  • It should not be all in capital letters
  • The candidate must sign it only
  • It should be clearly
MHT CET Law 2022 Application Fees

The application fees for MHT CET Law 2022 will be INR 800 for unreserved categories of candidates from the state of Maharashtra, migrant candidates from Jammu and Kashmir, and all other candidates from outside Maharashtra. It will be INR 600 for reserved categories of candidates like ST, SC, VJ/DT (NT-A), NT-1(B), NT-2(C), NT-3(D), OBC, and SBC. The fees has to be paid in the online mode by netbanking, credit card or debit card like IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallet, RuPay /Visa /MasterCard /Maestro. After the successful payment of the fees, an e-receipt will be generated.

MHT CET Law 2022 Admit Card

Candidates should not expect to get ther admit cards via post or any such way. Candidates will have to login using their unique credentials generated at the time of succesful submission of their application forms in order to download their admit cards. A print out of this downloaded admit card must be carried to the examination centre on the exam date along with a valid identity proof. Candidates must also check for any errors in the admit card and if any, they must report it immediately to the conducting authorities without further delay.

MHT CET Law 2022 Examination Instructions 

  • A printed copy of the MHT CET Law 2022 Admit Card downloaded from the official website only, needs to be carried to the examination center along with a Government issued valid identity proof
  • Wearing of wrist watch, ornaments, using calculators or any other electronic gadgets etc, are strictly prohibited in the examination hall
  • Candidates must follow all the instructions given at the time of the examination
  • Rough work should be done only in the blank sheets given in the examination hall

The MHT CET Law 2022 results will be in accordance with the official answer key released by the conducting authorities of MHT CET Law 2022. The cutoff will be released by all the affiliated institutes offering these law programmes. Candidates having their scores more than the cutoff will be shortlisted for the counselling round.

MHT CET Law 2022 Counselling

MHT CET Law 2022 Counselling round will be conducted for allotting seats to the eligible candidates in the various institutes in Maharashtra. This round will be the last step in the admission procedure. The counselling process will be held via online mode only. It involves various steps including the counselling registration, fees payment and verification of documents. The counselling fees for the unreserved candidates, candidates outside the state of Maharashtra and children of the Indian workers in Gulf Countries is INR 800 while it is INR 600 for the reserved categories of candidates and PwD candidates from Maharashtra. The counselling fees for the children of NRI/ OCI /PIO, Foreign Nationals will be INR 5000. Candidates will have to participate in the counselling round and they will be allotted seats strictly on the basis of the marks they have obtained in the MHT CET Law 2022 examination.
