Actual KEAM 2022 Marks vs Rank Will Depend On Class 12 Marks!

Please note that engineering rank depends on two things – (1) Your KEAM 2022 score, and also(2) your class 12 score

(ref – Admission to Engineering courses shall be regulated on the basis of merit as assessed by giving equal weightage of 50:50 to the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering (Paper I & Paper II put together), and the grade/marks obtained for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together in the final year of the qualifying examination, after effecting the standardization procedure).

Therefore if you have high marks in KEAM 2022, but low in class 12 board exams, then your rank will go down. And vice versa; that is if your KEAM 2022 score is low but qualifying exam marks are high then rank will be higher.

What is a good score in KEAM 2022?

A good score in KEAM 2022 means such a score at which you can get a high rank for most popular courses and colleges. Admission to all courses is on basis of the KEAM 2022 rank. However, the cut off rank for any course and college is different for each category. Therefore a good score will vary from category to category. Still, a broad generalization of a good score is as follows.

Score above 600 Very good score
450 to 600 good score
350 to 450 Average score
250 to 350 ok score
Below 250 Not a good score
