Why it is important to only use black/blue ball point pen for marking the answers?
Use a black/blue ball point pen when marking the answers on an OMR Sheet. The OMR sheet comes with two sets of sheet. It is important to have the impression of the answers on the second sheet as well when you mark the answer on the first one.
If a pen with nib is used, the pressure on the top sheet will not be enough to activate the chemical on the bottom sheet. The ballpoint pen exerts pressure on the other sheet to convert the chemical into a dark spot. This will not happen with other pens. Hence, it is necessary to use a ballpoint pen only.
