Steps to Download Class 10th Date Sheet

The Jammu and Kashmir Board is about to release the class 10th date for the winter zone examinations on their website. Once released, students can follow these steps to check their division’s date sheet.

1st Step: Visit the official website of JKBOSE at jkbose.nic.in.

2nd Step: On the homepage, hover over the “Student Corner” option available on the header.

3rd Step: A drop-down will appear that consists of list of content. Click on the “Date Sheet” link.

4th Step: DateSheets page will be opened on your screen. Then, click on the “Class 10th” division-wise (Jammu or Kashmir)

5th Step: Once select, a zone-wise date sheet will appear. Select a link to the date sheet of the desired zone.

6th Step: The date sheet will be opened as a pdf in a new tab. Save it for future reference.

Preparation Tips for JKBOSE 10th Exam

We have shared some preparation tips for the JKBOSE class 10th examinations. Students can refer to the tips and can study according to the tips to enhance their performance. Following with sincerity will help students to score better in the exam.

  1. First of all, students are advised to review the revised syllabus (given above) to know the chapters coming in the examinations.
  2. For compulsory subjects Mathematics, Social Science, Science, General English, etc. students should refer to the teacher’s notes specifically for better understanding of concepts
  3. For a better understanding of the question paper solve subject-wise Model Test Papers and analyze important topics or chapters.
  4. Winter Zone examinations are about to start, so students should focus on revising chapters and solving Previous Year Question papers that too in an exam time slot (3 hours).
  5. After solving question papers, mark the questions you were unable to solve. Find the solution to that question(s) and practice more on that topic.
  6. A day before the final exam is crucial, students are advised only to take a quick look at the teachers or self-prepared notes.

Important Points to Remember

Below are the important points that students should remember if they are preparing for the JKBOSE class 10th examinations.

  • The Winter and Summer Zone examinations will follow the same syllabus for both the regular and private students.
  • The external practical examinations will be conducted by the respective schools right after the termination of the theory examinations.
  • Internal Assessment shall carry overall 20 marks based on the following: Periodic Assessment, Portfolio, Subject Enrichment Activity.
  • The theory exam shall consist of 80 marks and the total score will be given out of 100 marks (External and Internal).
  • Music/ Painting/ Art & Drawing and Home Science are for CWSN students only in instead of Mathematics and Science.

JKBOSE 10th Exam Timings

Exam timings of Class 10th are categorized according to the Division (Jammu and Kashmir) and Zone (Winter and Summer). Exam timings are given below.

Note: The duration of the exam would be 3 hours only. An extra 15 minutes before the start of the exam will be given to read question papers carefully.

JKBOSE 10th Supplementary Examination 2022

For those students who fail in JKBOSE Class 10th (SSE) examinations in one or more subjects, the board conducts the supplementary examinations. The board releases the Application Form on their official website after 15 days of the result declaration. Students have to fill the Application Form under the school guidance for the subjects they want to reapear. The registration process will be completed only after paying the desired fees. Date Sheet consisting of exam dates, instructions will be published online on the board’s website after the registration process ends.

JKBOSE 10th Admit Card 2022

Jammu & Kashmir Board usually releases the Admit Card for both regular and private students at least a month before the commencement of the exams. For this year as well, the board will release the admit cards in February 2022. Students can collect their admit cards from their respective schools. All the students must ensure that no fee is due with school and if any due is left clear it and then a student can collect his/her admit card. Although, students appearing for the supplementary examinations have to download their admit card from the JKBOSE’s website (when available). Students are informed that admit card has to be carried to the examination center on every exam day. If any student is found without admit card he/she will be permitted to enter the examination hall.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is an autonomous body responsible for conducting the SSE examinations for class 10th.
