Aptitude Test Syllabus: Part 1 – Expected as per Previous year

JEE Main 2022 Exam Pattern
Candidates can have a look at the exam pattern of JEE Main 2022 given below. Candidates can check JEE Main 2022 new exam pattern for Paper 1 and Paper 2 from below.
- Mode: The exam is a computer-based test.
- Duration: The test is of 3 hours duration.
- Type of questions: There are MCQs and NVT (Numerical Value Type) questions.
- Language of the exam: Candidates can opt to get the question paper in Hindi, English or Gujarati (for specific centres) language.
- Marking scheme: There is negative marking. 01 marks get deducted for every wrong answer from the total score. For every correct answer, candidates are awarded 4 marks.

About JEE Main 2022
JEE Main stands for Joint Entrance Examination Main. It is one of the biggest engineering entrance examinations of India. It is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various undergraduate engineering and architecture courses in institutes accepting the JEE-Main score, which mainly consists of National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). The examination consists of three papers – Paper 1 for B.E./BTech courses, Paper 2 for B.Arch and Paper 3 for BPlan courses.
