JEE Advanced 2022 – The IIT Bombay has once again rescheduled JEE Advanced 2022 exam date. The new date is August 28, 2022. Also, the registration will begin from August 7, 2022 instead of June. The exam will be conducted in online mode (Computer-based Test). Through this exam, candidates will get admission in various IIT’s, NITs, IISc etc. for of Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree programs in the field of Engineering, Sciences or Architectures. JEE Advanced 2022 latest Update

December 30, 2021: The authority has released a notice regarding the Relaxation in JEE Advanced 2022. A unique reference code (URC) will be provided to such candidates. Check the details regarding the same given below.

  • Candidates who appeared in class XIIth in 2020 OR 2021 and registered for the JEE Advanced 2021 but could not attend both the exams i.e. Paper I and Paper II are eligible to directly appear for the JEE Advanced Exam. Such candidates does not have to fulfill the criteria from 1 to 4. Candidates have to just register themselves directly and pay the fee for JEE Advanced 2022 exam.
  • Moreover, candidates who appeared in the class XIIth in 2020 for the first time are also eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2022. However, they must satisfy the following criteria:
    • Candidate must have appeared for the JEE Advanced only once either in 2020 or 2021 or did not have appeared for the JEE Advanced Paper I and Paper II in 2020 or 2021.
    • Candidate must have appeared in JEE Main 2022 and must have cutoff score of top 2,50,000 successful candidates.

JEE Advanced 2022 Eligibility criteria

Candidates can check the details regarding the JEE Advanced Eligibility criteria as per the last years information below.

  1. JEE Main Score: Candidate must come in the top 2,50,000 candidates in B.E/ B.Tech Paper 1.
  2. Age Limit: Candidate must have been born on or before October 1,1997. There is five years of relaxation for SC/ST and PwD Candidates i.e. born on or before October 1,1992.
  3. No. of Attempts: Candidates are allowed to attempt only twice in two consecutive years.
  4. Appearance in Class XII: Candidate must have appeared for class XIIth in 2021 or 2022 for the first time with Physics, chemistry and mathematics as their subjects.

Procedure A : Candidate will have to login using their JEE Main 2022 login credentials.

  • Login:
    • Visit the official website of JEE Main i.e. jeeadv.ac.in.
    • Click on the application link on the homepage.
    • Now, candidates will have to login using their JEE Main 2022 login id and password.
    • Then, click on the submit button to complete the login.
  • Fill the Details:
    • After login, candidates have to fill the basic details such as exam center, additional mobile number, additional email id etc.
    • Check the details and click on the submit button.
  • Uploading the documents and Fee Payment:
    • Now, candidates have to upload the necessary documents as per the prescribed format.
    • After uploading the documents, candidates have to pay the application fee.
  • Submission
    • After completing the payment via online mode, submit the application form.
    • Take a printout for further use.

Procedure B: Candidates will have to login using the JEE Main 2020/20221 login.

  • Login:
    • Visit the official website of JEE Main i.e. jeeadv.ac.in.
    • Click on the application link on the homepage.
    • Now, candidates will have to login using their JEE Main 2020/2021 login id and password.
    • Then, click on the submit button to complete the login procedure.
  • Fill the Details:
    • After login, candidates have to fill the basic details such as exam center, additional mobile number, additional email id etc.
    • Candidates will also have to enter the URC provided to the candidate because of relaxation in eligibility.
    • Check the details and after that click on the submit button.
  • Uploading the documents and Fee Payment:
    • Now, candidates have to upload the necessary documents as per the prescribed format.
    • After uploading the documents, candidates have to pay the application fee.
  • Submission
    • After completing the payment via online mode, submit the application form.
