- The candidates have to submit Caution Deposit of Rs 20,000 (for the first semester)
- In the second semester, the candidates shall have to pay the penalty if they submit the admission fee. If the fee is submitted in the first 15 days then, no penalty will be made. But, if the candidates pay the fee between 16 – 45th day, then, the candidates will be fined with Rs 200 per day.
IMU CET 2021 Counseling
The candidates who qualify IMU CET 2021 are required to then appear for counseling. After downloading the rank certificate, the candidates have to take part in the phases of counseling.
- Registration: The candidates have to first register online at the official website and pay the registration fee of Rs 10,000.
- Allotment of seats: As per the campus selected and rank, the candidates will be issued a provisional admission letter. The candidates have to confirm their seats by paying Rs 25,000 as admission fee (non-refundable).
- Certificate verification: After the confirmation of seat, the candidates will have to get their documents verified.

Indian Maritime University conducts IMU Common Entrance Test for admission to UG programs and PG programs. IMU CET is a computer-based test. The test consists of multiple-choice questions. Each question is of 01 marks. There is no negative marking in the test. The final admission in the courses is done according to the ranks secured by the candidates in IMU CET 2021.
