ICSE English Language Paper 2022 Answer Key Released by Teachers – Know Where To Get


The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has conducted the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Semester 2 English Language paper today, April 25, 2022. The semester 2 examinations of ICSE will be concluded on May 23, 2022. The results of the examination will be released later in due course of time. The question papers of the ICSE semester 2 examination along with the answer keys will be released on the official website of CISCE soon. However, various teachers and educators have released the answer keys of the ICSE English Language paper 2022 online on several platforms including Youtube as video-based solutions.

ISCE Term 2 English Language Paper Analysis

The students will have to appear for Literature in English paper on April 26, 2022. The ICSE English language paper Term 2 2022 was conducted for 40 marks. The question paper was divided into three sections. The first section consisted of questions to be answered in 300- 350 words. Section B consisted of one letter writing question for 10 marks and section C consisted of 5 mark questions.

Students noted that the question paper was fairly easy and doable. Except for the comprehension that had confusing options. The literature section was easy and most students were able to write descriptive answers. The paper pattern was based on the syllabus and the specimen paper issued by the board for the English paper. Students who practiced the specimen paper would have found it easier to solve the paper, as per teachers.

Questions in the grammar section consisted of comprehension, letter, email, and notice writing, For the literature sections, questions were posed from the play, The Merchant of Venice by Shakespearepoems, Abou Ben Adhem by Leigh Huntand Nine Gold Medals by David Roth, In addition, the pros section consisted of My Greatest Olympic Prize by Jesse Owensand All Summer in a Day by Ray Douglas Bradbury.
