ICAI 2022 Application From , The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the application form for the Foundation, Intermediate, Final for May 2022 exam. How to Apply for ICAI Foundation, Inter, Final, and PQC Exam 2022?

If a student has created a login account after November 2021, they don’t need to create a new account. Students can log in using their single sign-on credential (ICAI provides every user a unique login ID and password which is used everywhere while transacting through various facilities provided by ICAI).

Steps for Registration,

Step 1: Visit the official website of ICAI- icaiexam.icai.org

Step 2: Click on the login/registration link on the homepage.

Step 3: Register with necessary details( Name, DOB, Mobile number, etc.)

Note: If a student has created a login account after November 2021, they don’t need to create a new account. Step 4– ICAI Registration Form will appear on the screen up as given in the image below:

Step 5: Fill in all the details as required ie Examination (Final – Old & New, Intermediate IPC-ATE_Old, Intermediate New, and Foundation, Select Prefix, Registration Number, Date of Birth as per certificates, valid E-mail address, mobile number, and landline number (If any but not mandatory)

Step 6: After registering students can log in and fill out the application form.

Eligiblity Criteria for CA Foundation, Inter, Final, and PQC Exam

Candidates seeking admission to different CA courses need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

CA Foundation Courses,

  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from Central or State Board of Education before the examination.
  • Candidates who have:Registered with Board of Studies on or before 30 June of the examination year
  • Changed to CA Foundation Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before September 7 of the examination year.

CA Intermediate Course

  • Candidates have passed Foundation examination or equivalent examination
  • Candidates who have registered for previous Intermediate exam as per syllabus under paragraph 2 or 2A of Schedule B or Professional Education (Course-II)Professional Competence Course and converted into Intermediate (IPC) Course/ Accounting Technician Course (ATC)
  • Candidates who have completed graduation or post-graduation in any stream from a recognized institute of India

CA Final Course

  • The candidate who have passed the Intermediate examination or Professional Education Examination – II/PCC/IPCC, are eligible to apply for the Final exam
  • Candiadte must also have completed 3 years or 3½ years or must be due to complete, as the case may be, of article training as on the date of filling the form
  • For PE-II stream student and PE-II stream students converted to IPCC – Also, they must be serving the last twelve months of articled training including excess leave, if any, and due to complete 3 years on or before October 31 of the examination year.
  • For PCC stream students – The candidate must be serving the last six months of articled training including excess leave if any, and due to complete 3½ years on or before 30th April of the examination year
  • For Intermediate IPCC students – The candidate must be serving the last six months of training including excess leave if any, and due to complete 3 years on or before 30 April of the examination year.
  • For students converted from PE-II to PCC as well as for students converted from PE-II to PCC and then to IPCC – The candidate must be serving the last twelve months of training including excess leave if any, and due to complete 3½ years articles on or before October 31 of the examination year.
  • Candidates who have taken termination are advised to re-register for the balance period of training

ICAI CA Exam 2022 Application Fees

ICAI provides an exemption to candidates belonging to newly formed union territories of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, and North-East states. These aspirants have to pay only Rs. 2250 if they register in the CA Foundation course between September 20, 2019, to March 31, 2022. Documents required for ICAI 2022 Application Form

Students have to submit the following documents to the Regional Office. However, there is no need to visit the office personally and submit the physical documents. Aspirants can submit the softcopy of the required documents. Students can find the list of course-wise documents required.

For Foundation course

  • Print out of the online registration form, self-attested with one recent color photograph affixed on it
  • Attested copy of Admit Card/ Mark sheet of Class 12th
  • Attested copy of the 10th Mark sheet/ Admit Card indicating Name & Date of Birth
  • Attested copy of Proof of Nationality (foreign students)
  • Attested copy of category certificate for SC/ ST, OBC, Differently abled candidates

For Intermediate courses:

  • Print out of the online registration form, self-attested with one recent color photograph affixed on it
  • Attested copy of Mark sheet of Class 12th for Foundation route candidates
  • Attested copy of Mark sheet of Graduation/ Post Graduation or mark sheet of Intermediate level exam of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India for direct entry

For Final course:

ICAI Application Form Correction 2022

Candidates who have submitted their application form and want to make corrections can do so through the official website of ICAI. Candidates can make the required changes in their application form by logging in to their accounts. The online correction window for the MAY 2022 examination will open from 21st March 2022. Students can make the required correction in a period of 5-7 days( one chance). Students will not be allowed to make changes in their group or medium. The process for making corrections in the application forms is the same for all courses and is as follows:
