HP Board Class 12th Exam Overview
Himachal Pradesh conducts the class 12th Board examination every year in a consecutive shift on the same day. The board conducts examinations of the science/arts/commerce stream at the same time every year. Every year lakhs of students appear for the board exam and get a Pass certificate that helps them in future studies. Students of Himachal Pradesh schools and State Open School can give the HP Board examination for the certificate. Every year HP board conducts the class 12th exams in the month of March.

HP Board Class 12th Practical Exam Date Sheet 2022
HP Board is conducting the practical examination for Regular candidates after the theory examination. The practical exams are scheduled to begin from April 23, 2022, onwards. Students are advised to contact their Principal before April 22 to know the exam date and time for practicals.

Step 1. Visit the official website of HPBOSE or click on the direct link on the page above.
Step 2. On the homepage of the website, click on the ‘Examinations’ option displaying at the top of the page.
Step 3. After this, a drop-down will appear having multiple options. Simply, go to the “Date Sheet” option.
Step 4. in the next screen, a window of Datesheet will open having datasheets of different classes. Click on ‘Date Sheet Matric Examinations 2022’.

Some Important Instruction for Students
There are several instructions mentioned in the HP Board Exam 2022 which students must follow before going for the examination. We will discuss some instructions mentioned in the Date Sheet.
- Reach the examination center on the given reporting time to avoid last moment rush.
- Carry your admit card for every exam you are going to appear.
- Use only blue or black ink pen for writing purpose. using any other ink pen may cancel your paper.
- Do not carry any electronics devices like mobile phone, calculator. Caught with any of these will cancel all your exams.
Preparation Tips for HPBOSE 12th Board Exam 2022

HP Board Class 12th Syllabus 2022
The HP Board announced a reduction in class 12th syllabus for the 2021-2022 session. The decision was made last year in view of the pandemic situation and in continuation of the notice, the same is applicable in this session as well. Candidates of class 12th will be able to download a pdf of the reduced syllabus once the HP board releases it. Students can follow the steps to download a syllabus.
Step 1. Visit the official website of the HP Board at hpbose.org.
Step 2. Next, click on the ‘Downloads’ tab
Step 3. Drop-drop will appear then, you have to select ‘30% Reduced Syllabus’.
Step 4. On clicking, a new window of the syllabus will open. Click on the ‘30% Reduced Syllabus’ link.
Step 5. PDF of the syllabus will be opened. You can download the same for future use.
Note: An extra 15 minutes will be given to students to read a question paper.
HP Board Class 12th Compartment Exam 2022
Candidates who did not clear the class 12th examination or were absent in the examination of 2021 get a chance to give compartment examination of 2022. Candidates have to submit the compartment registration form online that will be available online at hpbose.org after the declaration of the regular exam result. The complete date sheet will be released by HP Board after the declaration of the regular exam. Compartment exams of Class 12th will be held in two shifts (morning shift) and (evening shift). The timings will be 8:45 am – 12 pm for the morning shift and 1:45 pm – 5:00 pm for the evening shift.
HP Board Class 12 Admit Card 2022
The HP Board will release the class 12th Admit card in February 2022. It will be available for download at HPBOSe’s official website http://www.hpbose.org. Students can collect the admit cards from their respective schools after the board releases them. It consists of important details like exam date, timings, examination center address, etc. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the hard copy of HPBoSE 12th admit card 2022 on the day of the examination. Students are advised to keep a photocopy with them in case of loss of the original one.

About HP Board
The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, Dharamshala also pronounced as HPBOSE was established in 1969 after passing Act No. 14 of 1968 by the Himachal Pradesh government. When it was first established it head-quarter was located in Shimla but later it was shifted to Dharamshala in 1983. After the establishment of the board about 34 officials including teachers, secretory was appointed which is now a day increased to 643. Kultar Chand Rana was appointed as the Chairman of the board. The HP Board is responsible for making syllabus, publishing textbooks, conducting board examinations annually, and releasing results for all the schools affiliated with the board. At present, around 8000 schools are affiliated with the HP Board, and every year around 5 Lakhs students from these schools appear for the examination conducted by the HP Board. Board till now has set up 1650 examination centers in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The examination conducted by the HP board for the following course is 10th, 12th, J.B.T, and T.T.C.
