Joint Entrance Examination or (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination conducted for admission to various engineering Colleges/Courses in India. The test takes place in 2 stages – JEE Main 2020 and the JEE Advanced. While JEE Main 2020, tests the candidate’s capability and in depth knowledge of their subjects as a preliminary stage on national level, JEE Advanced is recognized internationally as one of the most challenging engineering admission tests.

Since 2019, National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that JEE Main will be held in online mode only and twice a year. The first attemot is held in the month of january and the second one in the month of April. The best scores of the candidaes out of both the attempst is considered for preparing the All India Rank (AIR) List.

However, only the top 2, 20,000 students selected in JEE Main 2020 are eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced. The candidates are selected based on the following criterion. Tip #5. Avoid Social Media / Friends

Any aspirant who is serious about their studies must stay try to keep away from the social media distractions such as Facebook and Mobile distractions like Whatsapp for this 1 year, but you could always Join useful Facebook groups and Google+ communities like quora to keep a tab on what other students are upto – how are they preparing differently. It helps a great deal in preparation. Also try to avoid unnecessary outings with group of friends. Rather watch an educational tv program/ read newspaper/ play etc. Pick a mentor. It can be your parents/kins/siblings/close relatives/class teacher – anyone. You need to be motivated throughout the year. Do not lose vision and focus of your Goal!

Tip #6. Break time is necessary

After you have invested serious hours of studies, you deserve a little time for yourself. take breaks between studies. Engage in your favorite sport/activity to keep you fit and rejuvenated.

Fitness is absolutely important during this time. one of the major reasons behind a bad JEE rank is not being fit. Take care of yourself by getting good sleep, good food, reading good books.

One other factor that may also lead you feel a little unmotivated sometimes, because you don’t have the right books as preparation material. Do not pick books which has complicated sentence formation. Easy to read is easy to get.

Tip #7. Time Bound Practice is a must

Taking the practice in strategic way is the key to your optimal performance in JEE Main 2020. As much as you practice the papers, you will know what you have learn at the end of the week. Conduct self-assigned tests from previous years after you have completed one topic. Read all the questions on sundays and notice how many questions were left unanswered. Do not give up if you have to start a topic once again. You have time but don’t take this time leniently. Do not spend lingering onto one topic for more than a week. Start a new topic.
