ESIC MTS Admit Card 2022 Out, Download at – Check Phase 1 Exam Date, Pattern, Last Year Cut Off


The Employee’s State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released the admit cards for the recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) 2022. Candidates who have already applied for the exam can now download the admit cards from the official website –, To download the admit cards, they will be required to use their registration number or roll number along with their password or date of birth. It must be noted that Phase 1 or preliminary examination is going to be conducted on May 07, 2022, The last date for downloading the admit cards is the same day itself.

Exam Pattern

The phase 1 or the preliminary examination is qualifying in nature as the marks scored in this phase will not be counted in the final merit. A total of 100 questions will be asked from four subjects for which a duration of an hour will be given to the candidates. The detailed structure of the test is given in the table below.

Candidates must note that for every incorrect answer, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. For phase 2, candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10, ie 10 times the number of vacancies in each category as per their performance in the preliminary exam.

Previous Year Cut-off

ESIC has fixed minimum qualifying marks for each category. Candidates who will secure the minimum qualifying marks in phase 1 or the preliminary exam will be shortlisted for phase 2. Here are the category-wise minimum qualifying marks.

However, the previous year’s cut-off marks can give some idea about the expected cut-off for 2022. As per sources, the previous year’s ESIC MTS cut-off marks are as follows.

This time, the expected cut-off marks for the UR category are likely to remain within 120-123. For the OBC category, it will be 104-107, SC – 112-115, ST – 70-75. The main examination will be held in an objective-type test format. A total of 200 questions will be asked for which candidates will be given a duration of 2 hours. The subjects, however, will remain the same as that of the preliminary exam.
