DASA UG 2021 – DASA has started the special round choice filling at the official website, dasanit.org. Eligible candidates can login on the direct link to access the Special Round Choice filling for admission to various UG and PG programs of premier Institutes of India under the DASA scheme will be coordinated by Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur for the academic year 2021-22 . UG admissions under the DASA scheme shall be on the basis of the ranks obtained by the students in JEE Main. DASA is for admission of foreign nationals in NITs, IIEST, IIITs, SPAs, central universities, and other centrally funded & premier technical institutes. Admission is offered in UG engineering & architecture programs and in M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. / M.Des. / MURP & MBA courses. DASA UG 2021

The UG admissions under the DASA scheme shall be on the basis of the ranks obtained by the students in JEE (Main). For the academic session 2021-22, DASA 2021 will be held as per the schedule below:

DASA UG Seat Allotment

Seat allotment is based on valid SAT Subject Test scores and the choices given by the applicant in the order of their merit and priority taken together. DASA UG Result of Third round of Seat Allotment is declared on November 16, 2021. Candidates can check and confirm your choices options available from November 17, 2021 (10 am to 6 pm IST).

Based on the merit list, the allotment of Institution and course are made as per the choices indicated by the applicant in his/her application form. An applicant appearing higher on merit list would get higher priority in allotment of course / Institution of his / her choices as compared to an applicant appearing lower in the merit list. In case, Institute/course of first preference indicated by the applicant is not available, he/she will be allotted the 2nd preference (Institute/course) and so on. Such of those applicants who have not been allotted any seat will be indicated as Not allotted in the allotment list. In such cases, the applicants will be eligible for all Rounds of allotment against vacancies.

All selected Foreign nationals must obtain a valid student visa as applicable to their category issued by the Indian Missions abroad. The visa can be obtained by producing the Provisional Admission offer letter and other required documents at the Indian Missions located in their respective country. It will be the responsibility of the candidate to arrange an appropriate visa.

DASA UG 2021 Application Form

Eligible candidates can apply for DASA UG 2021 in the online mode at dasanit.org. Applicants should follow the steps to fill the application form for DASA UG 2021:

Step 1: Create an account at dasanit.org by completing the registration process.

Step 2: Application filling and submission. In this stage, candidates have to upload scanned copies of all relevant documents and ay the application fee.

Application Fee: The students have to pay the first-semester tuition fee too with the registration fee to apply for DASA. The same is given below. This fee details as per last year.

DASA UG 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to check eligibility before applying for DASA UG Scheme.

  1. Age Limit: Those applicants who were born on or after October 01, 1995 are eligible to apply for DASA.
  2. Academic Qualification: You have to pass the 11th and 12th Classes along with Mathematics, Physics and one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology.
  3. Marks: Candidate must have secured a minimum of at least 60% aggregate marks or 6.50 CGPA or equivalent in the qualifying examination.
  4. Residential Requirement: Any foreign national studying in any country including India or Indian nationals studying abroad who fulfill other admission criteria shall be eligible.
  5. Residential Requirement for Indian Nationals: Candidates with at least two years of education, inclusive of 11th & 12th or equivalent, in a foreign country during the last 8 years and must pass the qualifying examination from abroad.

DASA UG Merit List

Applicant should have a minimum total valid score in SAT Subject Tests. A merit list of all the eligible applicants would be drawn on the basis of total SAT Subject Test scores only. SAT subject test score has to be sent directly through College Board to NITK Surathkal. This Scores will be considered for merit list preparation and seat allotment.

DASA Reservation Criteria

The 5% supernumerary seats are reserved for Children of Indian Workers in Gulf (CIWG) ie, 1/3rd seats from the DASA quota is reserved for CIWG candidates. This detail is base on per previous year brochure.

  • Iran
  • Kuwait
  • Oman
  • Qatar
  • Saudi Arabia
  • United Arab Emirates

Important points:

  1. The eligibility of CIWG will be the same as that of NRIs.
  2. NRI candidates who are eligible for CIWG category will have the option to be considered for other seats of DASA as well.

DASA 2021 Fee Structure
