CUET Syllabus 2022 – Details on CUET 2022 syllabus is released by NTA the conducting authority of the exam. CUET UG would be an CBT based exam consisting of three sections – Section I, Section II, and Section III.

CUET Syllabus 2022
Section I itself would be divided into 2 parts: IA which is compulsory 45 minutes long part consisting of English and one Indian language, and IB which optional and for students wanting to get admission into foreign language related courses. Section II would be mandatory and would consist of questions related to the course the candidate has applied for. In this section, candidates have to opt any 40 questions out of 50 questions with 45 minutes. Section III would be optionalof1 hour duration, and would test the general knowledge of the candidate

Medium of Examination
The CUET 2022 (other than “Language” Test) will be conducted in 13 languages.

Test Design
There are three Sections in the design of the test:
- Section IA – 13 Languages (As a medium and “Language”)
- Section IB – 20 Languages
- Section II – 27 Domain Specific Subjects
- Section III – General Test
A candidate has the option to choose any Language/Domain specific Subjects/ General Test or a combination there of as may be required for admission to specified course/s of the desired University/ies while applying.

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into all UG Programs in all Central Universities for academic session 2022-23 under the Ministry of Education, (MoE). The CUET will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connect with the universities. A single Examination will enable the candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities.
Role of NTA
The Role of NTA is confined to registration of candidates, conduct of the test, hosting of answer key, inviting challenges, finalizing answer keys, preparing and declaring result and hosting Score Card.
Merit list will be prepared by participating universities/ organisations. Universities may conduct their individual counseling on the basis of the score card of CUET 2022 provided by NTA.
