Class 12 Political Science Answer Key 2022 for CBSE Board Exam Released by Teachers, Check Solutions

CBSE has concluded the class 12 Political Science exam today, ie May 24, 2022. The exam was held for a duration of two hours, starting at 10:30 AM and ending at 12:30 PM. Additionally, every student was given a reading time of fifteen minutes to go through the question paper. Nevertheless, soon after the conclusion of the exam, various coaching centers and subject experts started coming up with the answer keys that can be referred to for analyzing one’s overall performance in the exam.

Students who are interested in evaluating their performance can go through the answer keys that are being released by the coaching institutes. It must be noted that the Class 12 Political Science exam was held amidst all COVID-19 safety protocols. All necessary instructions have been mentioned in the admit cards.

CBSE is yet to release the official answer keys but the unofficial ones can be obtained as question paper discussions and solutions. Please note that the question paper solutions can only be accessed via the respective channels of the coaching centers and educators. Some of these channels are run by Digraj School, Human-at-ease, Adda247 School, Simran Sahni, etc. Students must note that even if the answer keys are available as video descriptions, the soft copies of the same are likely to be released soon. Question Paper

The total marks for the CBSE class 12 Political Science question paper were 40. A total of six units were required from both Contemporary World Politics and Politics in India since Independence, The units along with their marks assigned have been given below.

Part A: Contemporary World Politics

  • New Centers of Power – 08
  • South Asia and the Contemporary World – 06
  • Globalization – 06

Part B: Politics in India since Independence

  • Parties and the Party Systems in India – 06
  • Democratic Resurgence – 06
  • Indian Politics: Trends and Developments – 08

The entire question paper was divided into three sections namely A, B and C. Section A comprised 08 questions with each question carrying 02 marks. Similarly, Section B had 03 questions with each question carrying 04 marks. The last section or Section C is comprised of 02 questions with 06 marks each.
