CEED Result 2022 – IIT Bombay has announced CEED 2022 result. It has been released online, at ceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates can also check CEED result from the link below. For now, only the result has been announced . Scorecard of CEED 2022 will be out on 12 Mar 2022. To download scorecard and check result, candidates need to access candidate’s login. To do so, candidates need to enter e-mail id and password. CEED result 2022 contains qualifying marks, number of candidates, number of candidate qualified, rank, marks in part A, marks in part B, CEED score, etc. The Part B marks of only those candidates are mentioned who qualify in Part A. CEED 2022 Cutoff / Qualifying Marks

IIT-B has announced cut off for CEED 2022. Candidates need to understand that the actual minimum qualifying marks are only mentioned in the scorecard. The announced cut off is the mean and standard deviation cut off.

• The mean cut off for CEED 2022 is –> 18.62
• The CEED standard deviation cut off is –> 11.93

The cut off of CEED is only announced for Part A of the exam, as the Part B is subjective in nature. Based on these mean and standard deviation, minimum qualifying mark shall be determined. In the scorecard, IIT released two cut off, which are:

• Part A qualifying marks: This is the minimum marks needed to pass in Part A of the exam
• Qualifying CEED score: This is the minimum marks needed to qualify CEED exam.

Note: However, last year, only qualifying CEED score was announced and not the Part A cut off.

CEED 2022 Result Date

How to Check CEED 2022 Result?

The result of CEED is announced based on the answer key. The final CEED 2022 answer key is already out. Candidates can only check CEED 2022 result online, at the official website, which is ceed.iitb.ac.in. Since we provide the link to check the result, candidates simply need to follow the steps below to check it:

Step 2 – The link directly leads to a new login, which looks as shown below.

Step 3 – Access the login by entering email id and password.

Step 4 – Click on the ‘Login’ button and check CEED 2022 result from the dashboard.

Candidates need CEED 2022 result during the final admission. Hence, do download it and save it as well.

CEED 2022 Scorecard

During the result, candidates only get to know few details. Few days after announcement of the CEED result, the scorecard is released. It should be noted that in the scorecard the Part A marks are displayed for all the candidates. However, Part B marks of only those candidates are mentioned in the scorecard, who qualify the exam. Rank is also mentioned in the scorecard of CEED 2022.

• It should be noted that scorecard of CEED is only valid for 1 year.

How is CEED 2022 Cutoff Determined?

In the official information brochure of CEED, IIT-B has given how the cut off is determined. It is done as follows:

How is CEED 2022 Part A cut off determined?

• For general category, this is done by using the formula below.

CEED Cutoff (𝛿) = μ + (σ⁄2) (Correct up to 2 decimal points)

Here, μ and σ are the average mark and standard deviation of distribution of marks obtained by all the candidates in Part-A of CEED 2022.

For reserved categories candidates, there is a relaxation in cut-off mark and it is

• OBC-NCL – 0.9δ
• EWS – 0.9δ
• SC – 0.5δ
• ST – 0.5δ
• PwD – 0.5δ

How is CEED 2022 Part B cut off determined?

Part B of the exam is only checked if the candidates qualify Part A. Since this is a subjective section, there is no fixed cut off for this.

CEED 2022 Result for Part A

The part A result for CEED is determined based on the marking scheme and cut off of the exam. The cut off has been given below. The marking scheme of Part A is as follows:

CEED 2022 Result for Part B

Part B of only those candidates is evaluated who qualify Part A. Since this section is subjective in nature, there is there is no model solution. The section is evaluated using the holistically approach and set of pre-defined criteria that was given in CEED 2022 question paper. It is as follows:

IIT B will not share the check answer booklet with the students. Also, candidates cannot apply for re-checking of re-evaluation of this section.

Final CEED 2022 Score

The final score, also called as CEED score, is determined based on performance in Part A and Part B. Hence, it is only released for those candidates who pass in both the section.

• To determine CEED score, 25% weightage is given to Part A and 75% weightage to Part B score.

What After CEED 2022 Result is Out?

Once the result of CEED 2022 is out, candidates have to apply for admission in participating institutes. There is no centralized common counselling for CEED. Candidates need to go to the official website of the participating institutes and then apply.

These institutes will grant admission in PG design courses on the basis of CEED 2022 score. However, candidates will have to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the institutes as well. Each candidate might have it’s own admission eligibility.
