CEED 2023 – IITB will soon announce the CEED 2023 exam date and open registration at ceed.iitb.ac.in. Every year the CEED exam is held in the last week of January. Therefore it is expected that IITB will hold CEED in last week of January 2023. Registration is expected to start in September. The Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is a National level Design entrance exam. It is conducted by IITB for admission to M.Des in IIT Bombay, IISc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, IIITDM Kancheepuram, and other result sharing institutes. What will be the exam date of CEED 2023?

IIT Bombay has been holding CEED exam in the last week of January every year. However there is no fixed pattern on the exam date. In some years it was held on weekdays, on others on a weekend. Therefore a fixed expected date cannot be concluded. Nevertheless we expect that there are high chances that the design entrance exam will be held between 15 to 25 January 2023.

CEED 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of CEED 2023 will be announced by IIT Bombay. Last time the exam pattern was as follows.

Part-A

  • With objective questions of three types: Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Choice Question (MCQ), and Multiple Select Question (MSQ).
  • This is a Computer Based Test
  • Questions are design aptitude type questions that evaluate visual and spatial ability, environmental and social awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, language, observation and design sensitivity of the candidates

Part-B

  • This consists of five questions that are aimed at testing design, drawing and writing skills.
  • The questions in Part-B are displayed on the computer screen and the answers are to be written in the answer book

IITB releases the CEED application form 2023 as per the timetable. Candidates must register for Common Entrance Exam for Design and apply before the last date. You should know the following about application form of CEED before you apply.

CEED Application Form 2023 Date – Check the start and last date of CEED 2023 application form at ceed.iitb.ac.in. You have to apply before last date prescribed by IITB. Also, avoid waiting for deadline and apply for CEED ASAP.

  • Go to the website and click the link to apply online for CEED.
  • Then register with basic details.
  • After that enter personal, academic, contact info for the CEED exam.
  • Thereafter upload documents as per Indian Institute of Technology Bombay guidelines.
  • Finally pay the application fee.

Eligibility Criteria

You should check all the eligibility conditions of Common Entrance Exam for Design before you apply. It is also good to check eligibility criteria of universities, colleges where you seek admission through CEED. The important points CEED eligibility criteria for 2023-24 will be announced. Last time the eligibility conditions were as follows:

Educational qualification – Candidates must have completed a degree/diploma/post graduate degree programme of minimum THREE years (after 10+2 level), or must have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level).

Age limit – There is no age limit to appear for CEED.

Number of attempts – A candidate can appear for CEED any number of times.
