CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Economics Sample Paper Released, Exam Tomorrow

Tomorrow, May 28, 2022, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Class 12 term 2 Economics 2022 paper for Humanities stream students. The term 2 paper will be held for a duration of 2 hours, from 10;30 am to 12:30 pm. A student is expected to attempt and complete the entire paper in the offline mode, within the stipulated time-period. To their delight however, tomorrow’s paper will only cover 50% of the reduced syllabus.

To understand the CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Economics syllabus and paper pattern, the board has released sample papers on the official website cbseacademic.nic.in. With less than 24 hours left for the exam, students can solve the sample paper for some last-minute practice and revision.

In the CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Economics sample paper, the pattern has been clearly mentioned along with the allotment of marks or various sections. Evidently, there is a mix of short- and long-answer type questions signifying that the paper is entirely subjective without any multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Economics 2022 Paper Pattern

As per the CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Economics pattern, the question paper shall comprise of 13 questions, divided into various sections. Out of the 13 questions, 5 will be allotted 2 marks each, another 5 for 3 marks each and 3 questions for 5 marks.

The 2-mark questions need to be answered in 30-50 words while 3-mark questions have to be responded in 50-80 words. Finally, the 5-marks questions have to be answered in 80-120 words. Students can also expect source or case-based questions in some places.
