A CBSE official has confirmed that CBSE 10th Term 2 date sheet 2022 shall release by next week Thus, students can check CBSE Term 2 exam dates by the 1st week of February 2022. Moreover, is reported that CBSE practical exams 2022 shall begin from February.

Earlier, the CBSE board warned the students against misleading news on the Term 1 result date. A fake notice circulating on social media says that CBSE Term 1 result will be announced on Jan 25, 2022, at 2 pm. However, the board issued a statement stating that this information is fake. Moreover, the board has clarified that the result date is not yet decided.

It is expected that CBSE Board shall declare the Class 10 Term 1 result in a record-breaking time. Using the high-tech features, the board has already evaluated OMR sheets of 33 lakh candidates who appeared for the Term 1 exam on the first day. As of now, the board has not announced the exact date for the declaration of CBSE 10th Term 1 Result 2021-22, however, if the reports are to be believed, they shall be announced in the month of January.

There are several methods, students can follow to check their CBSE 10th result. In this section, we have discussed the step-by-step instructions for students to check their class 10th result online at the board’s official website.

1st Step: First, visit the website of CBSE Result at cbseresults.nic.in. This is an official website where CBSE results are declared.

2nd Step: On the homepage, you can see various exam result links. What yo you have to do is look for the “Senior Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (Class X)” result’s link. Click on the link. You must ensure that you have a strong internet connection.

3rd Step: On clicking, you will redirect to the result page. Enter your Roll Number, School No., Date of Birth (refer to the image given below). All these details are given on your CBSE 10th admit card 2022. Make sure to write correct details without doing spelling mistakes. Otherwise, you will not be able to see your result.

4th Step: After entering, click on the Submit button. Your result will be displayed on your screen. This will be a provisional result that will consist of grade points awarded in each subject. Also, aggregate grade point awarded.

DigiLocker is an online platform that keeps our documents. Likewise, it also contains the CBSE X mark sheet. By following the steps given below, you can check your result through DigiLocker.

Create DigiLocker Account – Firstly, create your DigiLocker account (if not created yet). While registering you need to go through the verification process. After completing the verification process, you will be able to and fetch your documents including the CBSE X result.

Sign-In to Account – Once the account is created, log in to your Dashboard by entering the Aadhaar/Mobile Number and 6 digit security PIN Card (generated while registering). Also, you can enter a Username to sign in to your DigiLocker account.

Look for a CBSE X Marksheet – Once signed in, you can see the various document tab. Look for a “CBSE X MarkSheet” tab. Click the tab to see your result.

Check your Result – Your result will be opened as a pdf. Save a pdf and also you can take out a print for future reference.

Note: DigiLocker result is just for reference and to check the score. In the future, you have to show or submit your original 10th mark sheet wherever required. This result will not be considered.

CBSE 10th Result 2022 Grading System

On your result, you can see a grade awarded in each subject. This grade is based on the performance in External and Internal assessment. Also, you can see an aggregate CGPA that is the final grade of your result. This new grading system will consist of five-grade points. Students will be awarded form A-E grades that will be based on their performance.

Qualifying Marks Required for CBSE 10 Board Exam 2022

As per the passing criteria of CBSE 10th, students must have to score at least 33 marks in each subject. This mark is an aggregate of marks scored in the theory exam, internal assessment. In addition, the aggregate percentage must be 33 percent to be considered as a passed candidate. The formula to calculate the percentage using CGPA is given above.

What after CBSE Class 10 Result 2022 is Declared?

Once the CBSE announced the result, at first students must check their scorecard from the website by following the steps given. Save your result on your device. Also, the school asked every student to collect their mark sheet. Collect your mark sheet and keep it safe for future reference.

After the result declaration, students can participate in any of the following activities. All these activities will be held online at the CBSE board website at a specific time.

  • Apply for Verification of marks/Re-evaluation – Any student wish to check his/her answer to a particular question or apply for verification of marks, they can apply for verification. If you wish your answer(s) to be re-evaluated you can apply for re-evaluation also. The link for the same will be active after 2 weeks of result declaration.
  • Apply for Compartment Examination – If you failed in one or more subjects in the CBSE 10th examination then, you can apply for the compartment examination. The compartment examinations will be held after 2 months of result declaration.
  • Apply for Improvement Examination – If you are unsatisfied with your marks or you want to improve marks. Then, you can apply for an improvement examination for one or more subjects. The board conducts an improvement examination with the student appearing in the next academic session.

CBSE 10th Re-evaluation 2022

As discussed earlier, if any student doubts their marks or wishes their answers to be re-evaluated. In that case, they can apply for the re-evaluation process. To apply for the re-evaluation process, we have given the steps below.

Please note, only those students who have applied for obtaining a photocopy of the answer sheet will be eligible to apply for the re-evaluation process.

  • On the CBSE website, click on the “Apply Online” tab.
  • Under the tab, you can various activities links. Click on the “Apply for Re-evaluation”.
  • Submit your application in the required question(s) with reason.
  • On submitting an application, you will get a reference number. Keep this number safe to check the re-evaluation status.
  • The status of the re-evaluation will be uploaded on the website.
  • You can collect your new mark sheet. The result will be final and further, no appeal would be entertained.

Note: Students will get a new mark sheet only if marks have been raised after the re-evaluation process.

CBSE 10th Compartment Exam 2022

For those students who have failed in CBSE 10th regular examination, they can appear in a compartment examination for one or more subjects. To appear in the compartment exam, students have to register online from the CBSE website. The board will release the notification and application link to apply. Students can apply for whether one or more subjects in a single application. CBSE will examine after one month of registration. In between, students can download time table, admit card. Please note, the exam pattern, syllabus, marking scheme as well as instructions for the compartment exam would be the same as that of the regular exam.
