INI-CET July 2022 – The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has started the basic registration for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) July 2022 on its official website –, The INI-CET July 2022 is a PG medical entrance exam replacing the entrance exams previously conducted by AIIMS, JIPMER , PGIMER, and NIMHANS individually. Admission to MD, MS, M.Ch. (6 years), DM (6 years), MDS at AIIMS New Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and all other 7 AIIMS for the academic session 2022-23 will be through INI CET 2022, which is held in cities throughout India. The official latest news and updates on the INI CET 2022 exam for admissions are provided by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.It is now the single gateway for admission to AIIMS New Delhi, and seven other AIIMS (Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh), PGIMER, JIPMER, and NIMHANS. Interested and eligible candidates need to do basic registration, then get a unique registration code, do final registration, download the admit card, and then appear in the exam. Before you start doing basic registration, read the instructions for the image documents at, A concise explanation of what is given there is given below as well.

Document Dimension Size Other Specifications
Photograph 3.5 cm (width) by 4.5 cm (height) 50 to 100 kb – Photograph should be color.
– It should be in white background.
– Pic should be no more than 6 months old.
Signature 3 cm by 6 cm 20 to 100 kb – Sign using a thick tip black or blue ink pen (preferably fountain pen).
– Signature should not contain only initials, OR be only in CAPITAL LETTERS, or have any overwriting.
– While scanning, set scanner to 200 dpi.
Thumb Impression 4 cm by 3 cm 20 to 100 kb – Use a fresh blue or black color ink pad.
– Hands should be clean before taking thumb print.
– Do not press or move hand too much while taking print as it will smudge.
– Scan at 200 dpi.
– Background should be white.
– Only scan / scan and crop the portion with thumb print.

All images should be in .jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.png format.

  • When the “welcome to the login page” page opens, click “Basic Registration & Generation of Code”.
  • Then under new basic registration zone, click “Click here for New Basic Registration”.

After first login, change password. Keep a safe password of 6-10 characters and do not share with anyone.

Important notes

  • Only those candidates who complete basic registration of INI CET will be able to generate RUC code, and do final registration.
  • You cannot skip basic registration and directly do final registration.

INI CET Registration Queries

If you have any genuine issues in registration, then you should send an email from your registered email id (same email id you are using to apply for INI CET) to the Assistant Controller of Examination, AIIMS, New Delhi-110608. What is this PAAR Basic Registration?

AIIMS New Delhi allows candidates to do a one time basic registration. After that they can generate codes for different programs and apply for different exams. This saves the candidates time in applying for various exams.

Step 2: Uploading Images

  • Upon login after step 1, you can go to upload images section.
  • Now upload photograph, signature, thumb print as per guidelines of AIIMS / INI CET 2021.

Once images are uploaded, give consent on declaration form. Then click submit button.

This completes the basic registration for INI CET 2022.

INI-CET July 2022 Exam Syllabus

AIIMS New Delhi has not specified any specific syllabus for INI CET 2022.

It is expected that the syllabus shall be as per the general norms of a PG medical entrance exam. This means one has to study as per the following.

Syllabus for MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), M.Ch (6 yrs) entrance exam: MBBS degree level topics.

Syllabus for MDS entrance exam: BDS degree level topics

INI-CET July 2022 Exam Pattern

INI-CET is held as an online computer-based test. Check the details of the exam given below.

  • The candidates are given 3 hours to complete the test
  • There are 200 questions in the test
  • The questions in the test are objective type (multiple- correct choice questions and single correct choice questions)

INI-CET July 2022 Seat Allocation

The seat allocation for the available postgraduate seats in participating INIs shall be done through online mode only. The seat allocation shall be conducted for at least Two (2) Rounds followed by an Open Round. Additional Rounds of seat allocation may be done before the Open Round if needed. The seat allocation shall be done in order of merit, choices made by the candidate and as per the reservation policies of individual INIs.
