CLAT 2022: The consortium of NLUs has released the application form for CLAT 2022. The last date to submit the CLAT 2022 application form is March 31, 2022. Whereas, CLAT 2022 Admission Test (Offline) will be held on May 08, 2022 from 3.00 PM – 5.00 PM Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the national level law entrance exam for admission to 22 National Law Universities (NLUs). Admission is offered to their UG ( BA LLB, BBA LLB), and PG (LLM) programs. To apply for the UG exam, the candidates should have passed 10+2, whereas, to apply for PG examination the candidates should possess LL.B or equivalent degree. CLAT 2022
The admission in the participating institutes is granted on the basis of merit-cum-preference basis of CLAT exam. However, fulfilling the eligibility criteria is equally important for the candidates.

How to apply online?
In order to apply for CLAT 2022, applicants have to register at the website first. Follow the steps below to do it easily.
- Go to the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in to apply for CLAT 2022.
- Click on the link to “Register” and complete the registration process by entering Name, Mobile Number, Email ID and setting a password.

- Confirm the OTP received on the provided mobile number by to complete the registration process.
- Now log on to the website using the registered mobile number and password to access the CLAT 2022 Application form.
- Fill up the application form and upload the necessary scanned images of supporting documents, photographs, and signatures as applicable.
- Make the payment of the fees using one of the online modes to complete the application process.

CLAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the UG and the PG examination are given below.
Eligibility Criteria for UG
- 45% marks in 10+2 for general categories
- 40% for SC and ST categories
Candidates appearing for 10+2 examination in Mar / Apr 2022 are also eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria for PG
- Applicant should possess LL.B / Five Integrated LL.B. (Hons.) / Equivalent Degree.
- In the degree course, the minimum marks secured by the candidates should be 50% for general
- 45% for SC and ST categories
Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in Apr / May 2022 are also eligible to apply.
CLAT 2022 Exam Pattern
To qualify in the examination candidates need to understand the exam pattern. Comprehension based questions would be asked from Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical Reasoning. The number of questions are also reduced from 200 to 120-150 questions. Similarly, the PG admission test will also have comprehension based questions. The descriptive portion will remain the same as last year.
For Undergraduate:
- Mode of Exam –Offline
- Duration – 2 hours
- Language – English
- Total no of questions – 120 to 150
- Type of questions – Multiple choice questions (MCQs)
- Section – 5 section (Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical Reasoning)
- Marking Scheme – 1 marks for a correct answer and 0.25 negative marking for the wrong answer.
For Postgraduate:
- Mode of Exam –Offline
- Duration – 2 hours
- Language – English
- Maximum Marks – 150
- Type of questions:
- Multiple choice questions (MCQs) -100 questions of one mark each
- Subjective Questions – 50 Marks (Two Essay type questions each of 25 Marks, 800 words per essay) on the topics of law and contemporary issues
- Section – 2 sections (Constitutional Law and other law subjects such as contract, torts, criminal law, international law, IPR, and jurisprudence)
- Marking Scheme – 1 marks for a correct answer and 0.25 negative marking for the wrong answer.
