How is APJEE Result 2022 Calculated
The examination council prepares the Merit List for APJEE 2022 on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the APJEE exam. Candidates can calculate their approximate score before the declaration of the result with the help of the answer key. For calculating scores candidates should be aware of the marking scheme specified by the council. In case two or more than two candidates score the same marks or get the same rank then the inter se merit will be considered based on the per cent of marks secured in the qualifying board/university examination. The merit list released by the authority will be considered final and it will not receive any complaint or rechecking requests of the appeared candidates.
APJEE Merit List
Cat 1 and Cat 2 candidates: Separate merit lists will be prepared for both.
Diploma Courses (except Pharmacy and Hotel Management & Catering Technology): Class 10th or qualifying examination marks in English, Maths, and Science will be taken into consideration. If a tie persists, marks in Maths and Science will be taken followed by Maths marks only and then that of Science. If the tie still exists, the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank.
Hotel Management and Catering Technology: Class 12th’s 5 best scoring subjects marks will be considered. If the tie still exists, the candidate older in age will be given a higher rank.
Pharmacy: Aggregate marks scored in Class 12 (Science) with English, Physics and Chemistry (compulsory) along with one of these subjects: Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, and Computer will be considered. If there’s a tie, Physics and Chemistry marks will be taken into consideration first followed by Chemistry marks only and then Physics marks only.

What After Announcement of APJEE Result 2022
After the declaration of the APJEE result 2022 the exam council will notify about the counseling procedure on its official website. To participate in the counseling process candidates have to fill out an online application for counseling. Firstly candidates have to register themselves by entering their basic details and paying a counseling fee. After registration candidates need to upload asked documents for the verification process. For seat allotment candidates have to lock their choices for colleges and courses. After locking the seats candidates have to wait for seat allotment results. APJEE 2022 Seat Allotment and Matrix
Seat allotment and admission will be based on the counseling which will be held in 2 rounds. The 1st round’s schedule will be released by the council on the official website, apdhte.nic.in. The seat and course allotment will be based on the choices of the same filled by the candidate. After that candidates have to wait for the result seat allotment. After the result declaration candidates will have 2 choices. If they are not satisfied with the college allotted and wanted to participate in the 2nd round they can choose option I (Float) and if candidates are satisfied with the seat allotted they can choose option II (Freeze).
Candidates who will choose neither of the options, their option will be automatically considered to be option I (float) and they will be able to take part in 2nd round of counseling. Candidates who have opted for option II (Freeze) have to report to the allotted institute within the scheduled date and time for final admission and document verification with all the specified documents and provisional allotment letter. Candidates should know that 2nd round of counseling will be the final round and its procedure will be the same as the 1st round. NOTE: Candidates willing to take admission outside the state of Arunachal Pradesh has to report to the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, ESS Sector, Itanagar for verification of document and issue of final allotment order.
Two rounds will be conducted for seat allotment. The 1st round will have the candidates getting their seats allotted and thereby their results (including the institute and the branch allotted) will be displayed on the website. In the 2nd round, allotment will be made against the vacancies available at the end of the 1st round. Candidates will then be able to check the result on the website. No new registrations or filling up of choice will be allowed in the 2nd round. Those already registered won’t be allowed to change or re-submit their choice.
