AP ECET 2021 – Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University (JNTU), Anantapur, has opened the AP ECET 2021 counselling registration at sche.ap.gov.in/ECET. Earlier, AP ECET result was released on October 01, 2021. The exam was held on September 19, 2021, in two shift. Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2021 is conducted for lateral entry admission in engineering and pharmacy courses. Diploma and B.Sc. AP ECET 2021 Result

Result of Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test 2021 is announced online at sche.ap.gov.in/ECET. Candidates can check AP ECET 2021 result by providing details like registration number and ECET hall ticket number. After the declaration of result, the rank card for the qualified candidates is published.

In case, if two or more candidates obtain the same number of marks, then, the tie-breaking criteria according to different streams are applied. The same is explained below:

Resolving Tie in Engineering Stream

  • First, the marks obtained in engineering subjects are considered.
  • In case of a further tie, the marks obtained in the Mathematics subject are observed.
  • If the tie still continues, the marks obtained in physics subject is taken into account.

Resolving Tie in Pharmacy Stream: Rank is decided in case of a tie, by considering the qualifying exam marks at the time of admission.

Resolving Tie in B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects) Stream:

  • Marks obtained in Mathematics subject is considered.
  • If tie is still there then at the time of admission qualifying exam marks is considered.

AP ECET 2021 Answer Key

The answer key for AP ECET has released in the online mode at sche.ap.gov.in/ECET. The answers keys have the correct answer to all the questions asked in the exam. To download the answer key login details are not needed as it is published in PDF format. AP ECET 2021 answer key can be used to cross-check the answers and get an idea of the scores in the exam even before the result is out.

Challenging the answer key: The candidates can challenge the provisional answer key if they find any mistakes in it. A proper time period is set within which candidates have to submit their objections. After considering the errors, a final answer key is released. Based on the final answer key the calculation of the scores for the result is done.

AP ECET 2021 Exam Timing

JNTU, Anantapur is conducting two session i.e. forenoon session and afternoon session. Timing of forenoon session is 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and for afternoon session is 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

AP ECET 2021 Admit Card

The admit card for AP ECET 2021 is made available on official website i.e sche.ap.gov.in. Candidates need to login with their registration number and DOB to download the same. It is provided in pdf format and comprises of crucial details like name of candidate, name and address of the test centre, timings, signature and photograph etc. No candidate is allowed inside the exam centre without their hard copy of AP ECET 2021 admit card, valid identity proof and a passport size photograph.

General instructions for AP ECET 2021 exam day:

On the day of examination, candidates need to follow the instructions given below.

  • Candidates are not allowed to enter the examination hall after 10.00 AM
  • The candidates cannot leave the exam centre before 1.00 PM.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the candidates to check that they are answering the correct question paper.
  • It is advised not to create any kind of indiscipline during the examination.

AP ECET 2021 Application Form

  • Click on the link given above
  • Then, pay the fee and jot down the reference id number
  • Enter the payment reference number, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number and date of birth to fill the application form.
  • Then, fill the necessary details in the application form.
  • Upload the images of photograph and signature and preview the application form
  • Lastly, take the printout of the confirmation page

Application fee: Application fee is Rs 550 as per last year. It can be paid via debit card / credit card / net banking.

AP ECET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

To be able to write the exam:

Residential requirements: Candidates must be an Indian national and they should satisfy the local / non-local status requirements.

Education qualification:

  • Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy, or
  • 3-year B.Sc Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subject
  • Students must have 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC category) in qualifying exam.

All diploma holders in any branch of Engineering/Technology, who qualify in AP ECET are eligible for admission into B.Tech. Information Technology and Computer Science and Engineering branches.

AP ECET 2021 Application Form Correction

The application form correction window will open between 18 to 20 August 2021, candidates can do correction on their own in the application form. However, there are some corrections that cannot be done by the students and an email request must be made for such corrections.

Category 1: Corrections that cannot be done by self and students have to make request for such corrections

Wite an email to Covernor, AP ECET 2021 through e-mail. Send the email to [email protected] In the email mention the following and attached scanned documents for the type of correction applicable:

  • Payment ID
  • Qualifying Exam HT Number (Diploma/Degree)
  • Mobile Number
  • Date of Birth
  • SSC HT Number.

Check some of the preparation tips given below for AP ECET 2021.

  • Practice from the previous year’s question papers. It gives you an idea about the exam and difficulty level of the exam.
  • Attempt mock tests as much as you can. It increases your accuracy and speed needed to solve the paper.
  • Clear each and every doubt! Candidates have to clear every doubt related to questions. Any query in this regard will create a lot of confusion. Start from the weaker sections and prepare accordingly.

AP ECET 2021 Qualifying Marks / Cut – Off

The candidates need to get a minimum of 25% aggregate marks in the four subjects (three subjects for B.Sc. Mathematics). In other words, the candidates need to get a total of 50 marks out of 200. There is no qualifying marks for SC / ST candidates.
