AILET 2022 – The National Law University, Delhi has released the AILET 2022 application form at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Whereas, AILET 2022 exam is going to be held on May 01, 2022. The National Law University, Delhi conducts the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2022 for admission into B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LLM, and PhD courses. The exam is conducted in the offline mode (pen paper based mode) every year and admission into these courses will be strictly done on the basis of the rank in AILET merit list. AILET 2022

Through AILET 2022, admission is only granted in NLU Delhi. Rest of NLUs consider score of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission. Check important dates for events of AILET 2022 from the table below.

AILET 2022 Application Form

NLU released the application form for AILET 2022 online at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the application form by submitting all the asked details and documents. At last candidates are required to pay the asked amount of application fee and submit the application form along with it.

Process to apply for AILET 2022

Candidates can follow the below given steps to apply for AILET 2022.

Step 1: Firstly candidates are required to create an account by entering all the asked details.

Step 2: Then, candidates can get their application form and enter all the asked details and upload all the required documents and images.

Step 3: At last candidates can pay the asked amount of application fee and complete the application process.

AILET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) – Click Here to check the detailed Eligibility Criteria.

  • Candidates should have cleared their 12th with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC / ST / PwD). The candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2022 are eligible to apply.
  • Foreign Nationals Category candidates: Must have a 65% marks in 10+2 and exempted from taking AILET.

  • Applicant must have completed their LL.B. course from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). The candidates appearing for final year LL.B. annual examination in 2022 are eligible to apply.
  • Foreign Nationals Category candidates are exempted from taking AILET.

  • The candidates must possess LL.M / Equivalent degree with at least 55% aggregate marks for generals and 50% marks in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities).

Exam Pattern for B.A.LL.B Course

  • Duration of the Exam: The duration of the test is 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes).
  • Mode of the Exam: AILET 2022 is going to be conducted in PBT mode.
  • Language of Paper: AILET is conducted in the English language.
  • Type of Questions: The question paper of AILET contains Multiple Choice Questions
  • Marking Scheme: Add 1 mark for each correct answer and deduct 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

  • Duration of the Exam: The duration of the test is 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes).
  • Mode of the Exam: AILET 2022 is going to be conducted in PBT mode.

  • Type of Questions: Section A – Multiple Choice Questions and Section – B: Descriptive questions
  • Marking Scheme: In Section A – Add 1 mark for each correct answer and deduct 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Exam Pattern for Ph.D.

  • Mode of examination: Exam to be conducted in pen-paper based mode.
  • Duration: The duration of the test is 90 minutes.
  • Marking Scheme: Candidates get 1 mark for each correct answer and lose 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  • Number of section: There is two section namely Section-A and Section-B
    • Section A: 50 MCQs of 50 marks from legal knowledge and legal reasoning
    • Section B: Candidates have to answer one question of 50 marks.

NLU releases the admit card for AILET online at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. All the applicants who have successfully submitted their application form can download their admit card on their login. Candidates are advised to download and print their admit card as it is required at examination center.

AILET 2022 Preparation Tips

Candidates can check the preparation tips for AILET below.

  • As per the previous year questions, candidates are advised to prepare Current Affairs and English subjects with full concentration. These are the most important topics.
  • Candidates are advised to prepare for the test as per the topics which are given in the syllabus.

AILET 2022 Counselling

The National Law University Delhi has opened the counselling process for the BA LLB and LLM Programme at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Category-wise of the list of candidates invited for counselling. Registration for counselling candidates to pay Rs. 50,000. Then after the declaration of the list of provisionally selected candidates & the Waiting List of candidates. Counselling registration direct link is given below.

Steps to view result and registration for online counselling is given below.

Step 1: Go to the Portal – nludelhi.admissionhelp.com and Login using the following combinations:

  • Roll No. OR Application No Or
  • Applicant’s Date of Birth

Step 2: Paying the Counselling Fee

  • Qualified candidaes shall login to their application account, click on Pay Counselling Fees. On the following page, they will have to upload relevant documents
  • Click on ‘Pay Now’. The candidate will be taken to the online payment gateway and will complete the transaction for Counselling Fee of ₹ 50000/.
  • After successful payment process, an acknowledgement slip will be auto-generated
  • Candidates are advised to keep a printout of acknowledgement slip for future reference

About NLU Delhi

The National Law University (NLU) was introduced in the year 2008 through Act No. 1 of NCT Delhi with the initiative of the High Court of Delhi. It offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. courses in the field of law to the candidates. It is situated in Dwarka, New Delhi. It conducts a national level entrance test named as All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission to BA.LL.B (Hons), L.L.M and Ph.D. program.
